How much longer is Shaq’s Corvette?
Road & Track’s September 3, 2025 report describes the build as a 20-inch stretch. That figure refers to the reported overall stretch; the article did not detail the complete engineering method. It is a custom build, not a factory option or an established, commercially available conversion kit.

The follow-up measurements were reported by Road & Track on October 1, 2025, based on a shop video in which builder Ahmad Adelrahman showed the modified car beside a regular C8. They describe specific parts and dimensions, rather than a complete build specification.

In Road & Track’s account of the Effortless Motors video, the custom body and cabin dimensions differ from the reported standard C8 measurements as follows:

These are figures Road & Track attributed to the shop video, not measurements independently verified here or a complete list of the changes. The longer door addresses access, while the extra pedal-to-seat distance creates more legroom. The wider rear wing and longer hard top are also reported modifications, but the follow-up does not provide a full explanation of their design or engineering.
Can Shaq drive it with the hard top on?
Not while seated beneath the roof, according to Road & Track’s October follow-up: the top still sits too low for O’Neal to fit under while driving. The car was initially delivered with the hard top removed. A longer roof panel, therefore, did not make the cockpit tall enough for him.

Who built the stretched C8 Z06?
Road & Track identifies Effortless Motors, a Riverside, California shop, as the builder. Its October report describes Adelrahman demonstrating the custom Corvette beside a regular C8 in a shop video. The report adds that custom glass was made after windows cracked during the build; it does not establish that this is a generally available glass product or service.

The published accounts give selected dimensions, but do not document the full construction method or establish independent engineering validation, safety certification, crashworthiness, roadworthiness findings or performance testing. The measurements alone cannot show how the car performs or whether it retains the standard Z06’s driving characteristics.
