Do not assume that the gas Sorento, Sorento Hybrid, and Sorento Plug-in Hybrid have identical reliability simply because they share a model name. Their powertrains contain different components and introduce different forms of mechanical and electrical complexity. How much should you trust the reliability scores?
These ratings are useful, but they do not represent a controlled, long-term durability test of every 2025 Kia.
