By the highest manufacturer-published figure in the sources reviewed, the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Evolution leads at 2,031 hp. That number is for a named production configuration; SSC’s Tuatara figures depend on fuel, and Czinger’s 21C figures include hybrid-system output. These are not results from a shared independent test.
How this comparison defines “made in the USA”
There is no universal line separating a supercar from a hypercar, and “made in the USA” can refer to design, development, assembly, or manufacturing. This comparison uses the named high-performance models below and ranks manufacturer-published horsepower, while identifying each model’s configuration and power basis. The cited material does not independently verify every component’s origin or establish a formal U.S.-content test.
Figures are manufacturer specifications or announcements, not measurements made under a common test protocol. The ranking is therefore a comparison of published claims, not a standardized performance test.

What the leading figures mean
Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Evolution: 2,031 hp
Hennessey announced the 2,031-hp Venom F5 Revolution Evolution as a production car on August 15, 2025. The same release describes the manual Venom F5 Revolution LF as a one-off customer commission. That one-off should not be confused with the Evolution’s production-car specification or treated as a separate production model in this ranking. Hennessey also maintains a Venom F5 Coupe model page.

SSC Tuatara: output changes with fuel
SSC lists 1,750 hp on E85 and 1,350 hp on 91-octane fuel in its August 24, 2018 release. The fuel must stay attached to each figure: “the Tuatara makes 1,750 hp” without the E85 qualification would overstate what the published specification says for the other listed fuel configuration. SSC’s current Tuatara model page provides model information.
Czinger 21C: combined hybrid-system output
Czinger describes the 21C as a strong hybrid pairing an in-house 2.88-liter twin-turbo V8 with electric drive. Its specification page lists 1,250 hp combined and says a 1,350-hp option is available. These are system-output figures, not V8-only horsepower. Wynn’s 2025 Concours Car Guide separately describes the 21C as Los Angeles-built; that source is secondary context rather than an independent verification of every component’s origin. Saleen S7: twin-turbo and original naturally aspirated versions
Saleen lists a maximum of 750 hp for the twin-turbo S7. Its page also describes the original naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 version at 550 hp. Those figures belong to different versions; the 550-hp specification is not the twin-turbo model’s output. See Saleen’s S7 model page.

How to read the ranking fairly
- Fuel matters: SSC’s Tuatara output differs between E85 and 91-octane configurations.
- Powertrain basis matters: Czinger’s 21C number is combined hybrid-system output, while the other listed figures are presented for their named combustion-engine model configurations.
- Variant matters: Hennessey’s 2,031-hp announcement is for the Revolution Evolution production car; the manual Revolution LF is identified separately as a one-off.
- Publication date matters: the SSC release is dated August 24, 2018, and Hennessey’s announcement is dated August 15, 2025. Czinger and Saleen’s live specification pages show no publication date in the cited material; their figures here reflect pages accessed October 8, 2026.
- Measurement basis matters: none of these sources establishes a shared independent test method, so the figures should not be read as directly measured, like-for-like results.
