Why the Ducati XDiavel V4 is the performance-led pick
Ducati announced the XDiavel V4 on February 13, 2025, positioning it as a sport cruiser that combines a relaxed riding posture with a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine. Ducati publishes output of 168 hp and 93 ft-lb, and a weight of 505 lb without fuel. Those figures make it the clearest performance-led choice among the motorcycles covered here, but they are manufacturer specifications—not results from a common independent test. It retains cruiser-oriented ergonomics
The XDiavel V4 is not presented as a sport bike with cruiser styling alone. Ducati describes a low, relaxed riding position and a 30.3-inch seat. Why the Indian Sport Chief RT suits riders who want touring equipment
Indian Motorcycle’s EMEA release introduced the 2025 Sport Chief RT alongside the Super Chief Dark Horse. The RT’s factory-listed equipment makes it a practical alternative to a performance-first cruiser: locking rigid saddlebags provide more than 37 litres of combined capacity, and the bike has a two-up seat, quarter fairing, and 165 mm windscreen.
