If “fastest” means the quickest published 0–60 mph time, the clearest current answer under $100,000 is the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: Chevrolet says it reaches 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and lists a starting price of $73,495. The 2026 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 is another well-documented option, with a $58,300 starting MSRP and Toyota-claimed 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds. These are manufacturer claims, not results from a controlled comparison, and neither figure guarantees the same result in every configuration or condition.
Quickest confirmed sports cars under $100,000
The comparison below is deliberately limited to cars for which the available manufacturer information establishes both a starting price below $100,000 and a 0–60 mph figure for the specified model. It is a useful shortlist, not proof that no other eligible car is quicker.
| Model and year | Starting price | Published 0–60 mph | Top speed | Transmission / notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, 2027 | $73,495 starting price | 2.8 seconds, Chevrolet claim | 200 mph, validated by Chevrolet for a 1LT without the Z51 package on a closed course | Chevrolet’s acceleration figure is configuration-dependent. [Chevrolet, June 30, 2026] |
| Toyota GR Supra 3.0, 2026 | $58,300 starting MSRP | 3.9 seconds, Toyota claim | Not stated by Toyota on the cited model page | Available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. [Toyota 2026 GR Supra] |
Because the figures come from different manufacturers rather than the same test, the 1.1-second gap is a comparison of published claims, not a head-to-head result. Launch surface, tires, package, fuel, weather and the way a test defines the start can affect acceleration results.
Which one has the highest top speed?
Chevrolet says it validated a 200-mph top speed for the 2027 Corvette Stingray 1LT without the Z51 package. The stated result was achieved on a closed course; it should not be generalized to every Stingray configuration or treated as a road-driving target. The cited Toyota page does not state a comparable top-speed figure for the 2026 GR Supra 3.0, so the available figures do not support a complete top-speed ranking.

Other cars worth considering—but not rankable from these figures
2026 Nissan Z Sport
Toyota’s 2026 comparison page lists the Nissan Z Sport at a $42,970 MSRP and 400 hp, versus 382 hp for the GR Supra 3.0; both are rear-wheel drive. It does not provide a comparable Z 0–60 mph time, so the Z belongs on a value-minded shopping list, not in a verified acceleration ranking. The same comparison lists two seats in each car, with 6.9 cu ft of cargo space in the Z and 10.2 cu ft in the Supra. [Toyota GR Supra vs. Nissan Z comparison]
2026 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse
Ford lists 480 hp for the 2026 Mustang GT and 500 hp for the 2026 Mustang Dark Horse. Those power ratings alone do not establish which trim is quicker to 60 mph. The cited Ford model page does not establish the exact trim prices or a comparable 0–60 figure, so neither should be assigned a place in this under-$100,000 ranking on the basis of the available numbers. Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Chevrolet lists an available 2.6-second 0–60 mph time for the Corvette Z06, as well as a 10.6-second quarter-mile time at 131 mph. The cited overview does not establish the exact model year and trim MSRP needed to confirm that the relevant Z06 configuration falls below $100,000. Treat it as a potentially quicker candidate to price-check, not a confirmed under-budget entry. [Chevrolet Corvette overview]
What counts as “under $100,000”?
The prices here are manufacturer-listed starting prices or MSRPs, not guaranteed out-the-door prices. Options, taxes, dealer fees and market adjustments can raise the amount paid. Check the price of the exact model year, trim and configuration you intend to buy, and compare the dealer’s written total rather than assuming a base starting price is the final cost.

Performance figures also need their configuration attached. Chevrolet’s 200-mph Stingray result applies specifically to a 1LT without Z51, and Chevrolet describes available acceleration figures as configuration-dependent. When comparing a car you can actually buy with a published number, verify its tires, package and transmission against the stated configuration; a headline figure may not describe every version on the lot.

The 2025 Corvette ZR1 is a useful boundary case, not an under-$100,000 candidate. Chevrolet announced a $174,995 starting MSRP for the coupe and reported a 2.3-second 0–60 mph time and 233-mph track top speed. Its performance figures do not overcome its price exclusion. [Chevrolet, January 9, 2025]

How to use these numbers when shopping
- Start with the exact eligible version. Confirm the model year, trim, package and starting price; do not substitute a model-wide price for a higher-performance trim’s price.
- Separate acceleration from top speed. A quick 0–60 claim does not establish the highest top speed, and a top-speed figure may apply to a particular configuration or closed-course validation.
- Compare like with like. Treat manufacturer claims as useful reference points, not as independent, standardized tests. The figures above were not measured under one common protocol.
- Get the actual purchase total. Ask the dealer for a written out-the-door price including installed options, fees and taxes applicable to your purchase.
