BRABUS has published SUV builds with claimed top speeds as high as 330 km/h (205 mph), but the available official figures do not establish a complete, defensible ranking of ten. The fastest documented examples include the 900 Rocket Edition and the 900 Superblack GLS; both have speed claims tied to wheel-and-tire choice. Here are seven BRABUS-published examples, compared by stated maximum speed, with acceleration kept separate.
Which BRABUS SUV has the highest published top speed?
The BRABUS 900 Rocket Edition and 900 Superblack GLS are tied for the highest published figure in this selection: up to 330 km/h (205 mph). BRABUS gives the Rocket Edition a 330 km/h maximum, dependent on wheel-and-tire combination. The Superblack GLS is electronically limited to either 310 or 330 km/h, also depending on wheel-and-tire combination. Those conditions matter: neither figure should be read as a configuration-independent speed for every example.
The comparison below orders the seven verified builds by the highest maximum speed stated in their cited BRABUS material. It is not a complete top ten, nor an independently tested ranking. A manufacturer-published specification is not the same as a third-party instrumented result.

How fast is a BRABUS G-Wagon?
It depends on the version. The G V12 900 “ONE OF TEN,” a 2019 build, is listed at 280 km/h (174 mph), electronically limited, with a 0–100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds. That is slower on paper than the 330 km/h claims for the Rocket Edition and Superblack GLS, but the model-specific distinction is important: BRABUS described the G V12 as the fastest road car of this G-Class model series ever built, not as the fastest BRABUS SUV overall.

BRABUS’s history page also records an earlier M V12 as having been named by Guinness World Records the “Fastest Street Legal SUV in the World.” That is a historical claim about that vehicle and period, not evidence that it remains the fastest BRABUS SUV today. BRABUS history: 1990s.
900 Rocket Edition vs. 900 Superblack GLS
The two share the highest published maximum in this selection, but their specifications are not identical. The Rocket Edition’s 2021 release states a 330 km/h (205 mph) maximum and 3.2-second 0–100 km/h acceleration. The Superblack GLS page lists 3.6 seconds and an electronically limited 310 or 330 km/h, depending on wheel-and-tire combination. The published acceleration figure favors the Rocket Edition by 0.4 seconds, while the Superblack’s top-speed claim explicitly presents two fitment-dependent limits.

These are distinct BRABUS builds, not interchangeable names for one SUV. For either, the specific wheel-and-tire configuration is relevant when interpreting the maximum speed.
Why top speed and acceleration produce different rankings
Top speed measures the claimed maximum velocity; 0–100 km/h measures how quickly a vehicle reaches 100 km/h from a standstill. They answer different questions. The 600 GLC, for example, has a published 3.6-second sprint time, matching the Superblack GLS figure, but its stated maximum is 300 km/h rather than as high as 330 km/h. Likewise, the G V12 and 800 GLS share 3.8-second acceleration claims even though they are separate models.

Horsepower alone cannot settle the top-speed order. The BRABUS 850 GLE is listed at 625 kW / 850 PS and 320 km/h, while the 900-badged models have different stated limits and qualifications. Compare the published speed specification for the exact build rather than inferring a maximum from its badge or power figure.

The available official material supports seven specific examples, not ten models in a consistent, fully verified ranking. It also does not provide comparable independent tests for these builds. Treat the figures as BRABUS specifications for particular versions: some are tied to wheel-and-tire fitment, and two are explicitly electronically limited. A definitive ten-place list would require confirming each exact variant and applying the same ranking method across all entries.
