The Manthey Kit for the 2026 Porsche 911 GT3 (992.2) is a factory-supported, circuit-focused upgrade developed by Porsche and Manthey. It adds revised aerodynamics and four-way adjustable coilover suspension—not engine tuning—and Porsche says the car produced 540 kg of total downforce in circuit mode at 285 km/h. With Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, the kit-equipped GT3 recorded a notary-certified 6:52.981 lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife, 2.76 seconds quicker than the previous 992.1 GT3 with its Manthey Kit.
What the 992.2 GT3 Manthey Kit includes
The kit is designed to increase aerodynamic load, grip and stability on a circuit. Its main changes are to the underbody, front end, rear wing and suspension. Porsche and Manthey describe it as a coordinated package, not a collection of engine upgrades.
Aerodynamic changes
- Underbody turning vanes extend to 1.5 m—about one metre longer than the standard design.
- The front lip is extended by 12 mm.
- The rear wing gains a Gurney flap and larger, inward-curved end plates.
- The rear diffuser has longer fins.
- Carbon-fibre rear aerodiscs are intended to reduce drag. Porsche says the complete aerodynamic package increases downforce without increasing drag.
These changes are intended to improve cornering speed and stability. The longer underbody elements, wing and diffuser are part of the same airflow package; the quoted downforce figures below describe the car’s total downforce, not the amount added by the kit alone.
Adjustable suspension and brakes
The four-way adjustable coilovers allow rebound and compression settings to be changed without tools. Porsche says the front spring rates are 10% higher than on the previous Manthey-kit car to support the increased downforce. The kit also includes braided steel brake lines. Manthey lists a brake-pad set among the components, but marks it as optional; confirm fitment, including compatibility with the car’s brake equipment, with a Porsche Centre.

Optional wheels and other components
Optional 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheels reduce unsprung mass by 6 kg compared with the standard wheels. Manthey lists the wheel set in 9.5 x 20 ET46 front and 12 x 21 ET45 rear sizes. The wheel set is optional, rather than an automatic part of every kit.
Manthey’s component list also includes a front lip, flaps, air-guide elements, an underbody cover, a carbon-fibre rear wing and end plates, a diffuser, tow lugs, illuminated door-sill trim, an LED door projector, a decal set and a badge. The component page identifies some items as separately available. The exact contents and options can depend on the market and build; check the current build sheet with the installing Porsche Centre. The 185 kg difference is between the two quoted settings on the Manthey-equipped car; it is not a measurement of the kit’s gain over the standard GT3. Porsche’s figures and road-use warning are in its global announcement.
How much faster is it at the Nürburgring?
The 992.2 GT3 with the Manthey Kit completed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:52.981. Porsche Cars North America said that was 2.76 seconds quicker than the previous 992.1 GT3 with its Manthey Kit. Porsche says both test cars used Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, and that a notary certified the new lap time. The result is a comparison between those two Manthey-equipped cars, not a published time delta against a standard 992.2 GT3.
Porsche also described damp, slippery sections during the autumn test. The lap is a specific test result under those stated conditions, not a guarantee of what another car or driver will achieve. The details appear in the Porsche Cars North America announcement.

How the new kit compares with the standard and previous GT3
The published information gives several direct figures for the new kit, but does not establish a full set of like-for-like measurements across all three cars. “Not stated” below means the linked Porsche or Manthey material does not give that comparison.

Price, availability and installation
The Porsche Tequipment/Manthey one-pager gives a Germany-specific reference price of €41,911 excluding VAT and is marked status 11/2025. It is not a global price or a U.S. MSRP. Porsche Cars North America’s 21 November 2025 announcement deferred U.S. market-specific pricing. Ask a local Porsche Centre for a current quote, options, taxes and installation cost.
Porsche’s global announcement expected availability through Porsche Centres from March 2026. The U.S. announcement expected availability in spring 2026 and specified sale and installation through Manthey-certified U.S. Porsche Centers. Those were announced schedules; confirm present availability and installer eligibility in your market directly with a Porsche Centre. Does the kit void the Porsche warranty?
Porsche says the factory warranty remains intact with the kit. In the U.S., Porsche Cars North America likewise said the existing factory warranty is not compromised. Installation and availability are market- and dealer-dependent, so have the Porsche Centre confirm the warranty treatment for the specific car, components and installation before ordering.
Can you use circuit aero mode on public roads?
No. Porsche says circuit mode must not be used on public roads. Use the road setting when driving on public roads, and follow the instructions supplied with the car and kit when changing settings.
