The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid pairs a 329-hp hybrid powertrain with three-row family-SUV accommodations, a broad trim range, listed technology and safety features, and substantial published warranty coverage. Its appeal beyond fuel economy depends on which trim and drivetrain you choose: the most efficient listed versions are front-wheel drive, while higher trims add equipment at higher starting prices.
What does the Palisade Hybrid offer beyond fuel economy?
Hyundai lists a 2.5-liter turbocharged GDI four-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid motor, producing a combined 329 horsepower. That figure is the manufacturer’s published specification, not an independent performance test. The 2026 U.S. lineup includes four hybrid trims: SEL, SEL Premium, Limited and Calligraphy.
The range lets shoppers choose between a lower starting price and higher-trim equipment rather than treating the hybrid solely as an MPG choice. The features described below are trim-specific; check the listing for the exact vehicle to confirm its equipment.
How do trim, drivetrain and price compare?
Hyundai publishes different EPA-estimated MPG ratings by trim and drivetrain. The table pairs those ratings with each trim’s listed starting MSRP. Prices exclude freight, tax, title and license fees, and dealer pricing may differ.

What equipment do the trims add?
SEL

Hyundai estimates up to 619 miles of range for the Blue SEL Premium FWD, based on an 18.2-gallon tank and 34 MPG combined. This is the manufacturer’s calculation using a full tank and EPA-estimated combined fuel economy, not a guaranteed distance for an individual trip or owner. How should you choose a Palisade Hybrid?
- Choose drivetrain first. Decide whether you want FWD or AWD, then compare the relevant EPA estimate; the listed AWD configurations are rated 29/30/29 MPG.
- Set your equipment priorities. Compare the SEL’s listed touchscreen, navigation and SmartSense with higher-trim items such as Limited’s leather-trimmed seats, Bose audio and three-row heated seating.
- Compare the actual price. Treat the listed MSRP as a starting point, not an out-the-door quote. Freight and taxes, title and license charges are excluded, and dealer pricing may differ.
- Verify the specific vehicle. Use Hyundai’s trim comparison to narrow options, then build and price a Palisade Hybrid or check local Palisade Hybrid inventory. Confirm equipment, drivetrain, price and availability with the dealer before purchase.
