Tom’s Guide reported a starting MSRP of $63,800 for the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron Premium—below what its reviewer expected a luxury electric SUV to cost. That is a historical model-year price report, not a current offer, and the review’s tested Prestige quattro cost substantially more once configured.
What was the 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron’s reported price?
Tom’s Guide listed the 2025 Q6 e-tron Premium at $63,800 MSRP. The figure is specifically for the base Premium trim; it should not be confused with either the Prestige quattro’s listed MSRP or the price of the vehicle the reviewer tested. The publication date for the price report is not established here. Tom’s Guide’s review is the source for these prices.

The difference between the Prestige quattro MSRP and the tested vehicle’s price illustrates why trim names alone do not tell you what a configured car costs. The available price information does not itemize the options or other elements that account for the tested configuration’s higher figure.
Why did the price seem lower than expected?
The surprise was the reviewer’s, not a conclusion from a comprehensive survey of luxury-EV prices. Tom’s Guide says its reviewer expected luxury electric vehicles to start at $80,000 or more and described the Q6 e-tron as undercutting many rivals. That explains the headline’s comparison, but the available evidence does not establish a full market-wide price ranking or prove that the Audi is inexpensive or a bargain for every buyer.

Tom’s Guide also says the Premium includes features such as adaptive cruise control, Bang & Olufsen speakers, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and cross-traffic alerts. Treat that as the review’s equipment description: confirm the exact standard equipment on the specific vehicle and model-year configuration you are considering.
What does Audi say about the Q6 e-tron’s battery and charging?
Audi introduced the Q6 e-tron in 2024 as an electric SUV built on its Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, developed jointly with Porsche. Audi’s global launch information gave the battery a gross capacity of 100 kWh and a net capacity of 94.9 kWh. That release also cites 800-volt technology, DC charging up to 270 kW, AC charging up to 11 kW, and an approximately 21-minute charge from 10% to 80% under the stated conditions. These are manufacturer-published capability and charging figures; actual charging time depends on conditions and the charging equipment. Audi USA’s model overview separately gives an approximately 21-minute 10%–80% figure and cautions that its depicted car is European and specifications may vary. Audi USA’s current e-tron information page lists a 321-mile EPA-estimated range and roughly 22 minutes for a 10%–80% public DC charge. The page’s figures should not be assumed to apply to every 2025 trim or configuration; check the model year and vehicle details before comparing range or charge time. How should you use the European figures?
Audi’s May 2024 release described a rear-wheel-drive Q6 e-tron performance variant with up to 641 km of WLTP range and a European starting price of €68,800. These are historical European-market figures, not U.S. pricing or EPA range. WLTP and EPA range estimates use different test procedures, so the numbers should not be compared as if they were measured on the same scale. No. The $63,800 figure is a reported 2025 Premium MSRP, not confirmation that a 2025 vehicle is available today at that price. Current dealer transaction prices, discounts, incentives and tax-credit eligibility are not established by the cited price report. When comparing quotes or trims, keep the basis consistent: base MSRP against base MSRP, or configured price against configured price. Also account for drivetrain, included equipment, paid options, and EPA range for the same model year and wheel/trim configuration. A home Level 2 charger may be relevant for ownership because Audi cites AC charging capability up to 11 kW, but check the vehicle’s connector and electrical installation requirements against any charger you consider.
