Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteAssuming you’re shopping in the United States, the available evidence supports two well-documented 2025 four-door sports sedans to consider: the BMW M3 and Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. It does not establish ten specific cars that remain unsold and eligible for sale as new in 2026. A 2025 model-year car can still be sold new later, but you must confirm the individual vehicle’s status and current price with a dealer.
Why this is a two-car shortlist, not a verified top 10
“Worth buying new in 2026” depends on actual inventory, not just whether a car was offered for the 2025 model year. The available information does not verify that ten qualifying 2025 cars remain in U.S. dealer stock, are untitled, or can still be sold as new. Naming ten as current choices would overstate what is known.
The comparison below uses manufacturer-published 2025 model details where available. Prices are launch or model-year starting figures, not current dealer quotes, and neither car’s remaining inventory is established here. “Four-door” is treated as a sedan body style; that excludes hatchbacks and Sportbacks unless their door-count and body-style criteria are confirmed.
2025 BMW M3: three power and price levels
BMW identifies the 2025 M3 as a four-door, five-seat sedan. Its U.S. announcement listed three configurations. The MSRPs below are model-year base prices before the stated $1,175 destination and handling charge; they are not 2026 transaction prices.

| 2025 M3 configuration | Power | Torque | Launch base MSRP |
|---|---|---|---|
| M3 | 473 hp | 406 lb-ft | $76,000, before $1,175 destination and handling |
| M3 Competition | 503 hp | 479 lb-ft | $80,200, before $1,175 destination and handling |
| M3 Competition with M xDrive | 523 hp | 479 lb-ft | $85,300, before $1,175 destination and handling |
These figures come from BMW Group PressClub USA’s 2025 M3 announcement. They make the trim choice consequential: the standard M3 is the least expensive of the three at launch, while the Competition with M xDrive has the highest listed output and price. Confirm the drivetrain, equipment, and sticker on the specific car you are considering rather than assuming all M3s have the same configuration.
2025 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing: manual standard, automatic available
Cadillac lists the 2025 CT4-V Blackwing with a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 472 hp and 445 lb-ft, rear-wheel drive, a standard six-speed manual transmission, and an available ten-speed automatic. Its 2025 model page gave a starting price of $62,195. That is a manufacturer starting figure for the model year, not a current quote.

- 1:24 ONE sports race car model. Suitable for kids and adults, as collections and toys.
- Two butterfly doors. The large&small tail wing can be raised and lowered. The hood can be opened.
- Three switch modes at the bottom of the car. Power off mode, light mode, and sound & light mode.
- Front wheels with steering function, rear wheels with pull back function, fours wheels with shock absorption function.
- Pressing the front wheel or steering wheel triggers the sound and light effect under sound & light mode.
Cadillac’s current sedan page lists 10.7 cubic feet of cargo capacity and EPA-estimated fuel economy of 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway for the automatic. Those economy figures apply to the automatic configuration; do not apply them to a manual car. Verify the exact car’s transmission and current window sticker before comparing it with another vehicle.
How the two compare
| 2025 model | Confirmed performance and configuration | Published price context | Practicality and availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| BMW M3 | Four doors and five seats. Depending on configuration: 473 hp/406 lb-ft, 503 hp/479 lb-ft, or 523 hp/479 lb-ft with M xDrive. The cited announcement does not state transmission details in the supplied specifications. | BMW’s launch base MSRPs were $76,000, $80,200, and $85,300 respectively, each before $1,175 destination and handling. | Seat count is stated; cargo capacity, fuel economy, and remaining 2026 new-car inventory are not established here. |
| Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing | 472 hp/445 lb-ft; rear-wheel drive; standard six-speed manual or available ten-speed automatic. | Cadillac’s 2025 model page listed a $62,195 starting price. | Cadillac lists 10.7 cu. ft. cargo capacity and 16/24 mpg city/highway EPA estimates for the automatic. Remaining 2026 new-car inventory is not established here. |
The prices are not a like-for-like current-cost comparison: they are manufacturer model-year starting figures, and the BMW figures also specify destination and handling separately. Request written quotes for the exact cars, including dealer fees, taxes, and any required add-ons.

What to verify before buying a 2025 car in 2026
- Confirm it is genuinely being sold new. Ask the dealer whether the specific vehicle is untitled and eligible for a new-vehicle sale and warranty in your state. Get the vehicle identification number and check its title and registration status.
- Verify the model year and configuration. Match the window sticker to the VIN. Confirm trim, transmission, driven wheels, factory options, and any equipment that affects the price or specifications.
- Get a current written out-the-door quote. Distinguish the asking price from taxes, title, registration, dealer fees, and add-ons. Do not treat a historical MSRP as the dealer’s current price.
- Inspect the car’s condition and history. Ask how long it has been in inventory and whether it has been used as a demonstrator or otherwise driven. Review the vehicle history and inspect the car before signing.
- Check warranty start and coverage in writing. Ask the selling dealer and manufacturer how warranty coverage applies to that particular vehicle and when it begins; do not assume an older model year changes the terms in a particular way.
Other names that need more verification
The Genesis G70 has a U.S. 2025 build-and-price page, but the available information here does not establish trim-specific specifications or remaining inventory. The Audi RS 5 Sportback appears in 2025-market listings, but its Sportback body style needs confirmation against a strict four-door-sedan definition. The Audi RS7, Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio are relevant performance-car comparisons, but the evidence here does not establish that each qualifies as a 2025 U.S. car still available new in 2026. They are not counted as verified choices in this shortlist.
Likewise, a comparison test that included a 2024 Giulia Quadrifoglio alongside the 2025 M3 Competition and CT4-V Blackwing provides competitive context, not proof of 2025 Giulia availability. Its reported $63,590 CT4-V Blackwing base price was a historical comparison-test figure, not a current quote; Cadillac’s 2025 model page listed a different $62,195 starting figure.
