“Broke the internet” is a colorful way to describe the Honda motorcycles in this roundup—not a verified ranking based on page views, search volume, or social-media data. The list brings together ten very different machines that drew attention for electric power, unusual engineering, revived names, race technology, radical styling, or simple scarcity. It spans current and older models, several motorcycle classes, and multiple markets, so it is best read as a guide to why each bike became a talking point rather than as a buying ranking.
The ten entries are the Honda WN7; the China-market CB500 Super Four and CBR500R Four counted as one paired entry; XL750 Transalp; CBR650R E-Clutch; Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES; Valkyrie Rune; CBR600RR; CB1000 Hornet SP; CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP; and RC213V-S.

What “broke the internet” means here
The phrase describes attention, not a measured performance table. No comparable statistic was published for the ten motorcycles, and the source does not establish a consistent date, market, or definition of online popularity. A bike may appear because it was newly announced, because an old design remains unusually memorable, or because it was difficult to obtain in a particular country.

1. Honda WN7: the electric conversation starter
The WN7’s hook is straightforward: it places Honda’s badge on an electric motorcycle intended to be taken seriously as a road machine. That alone makes it a natural internet magnet. Electric motorcycles force familiar questions about range, charging, battery weight, performance delivery and ownership infrastructure, even when a manufacturer has not yet published every detail for every country.
Its novelty is the story, not a proven claim that it is the fastest, lightest or most practical electric bike. Treat specifications, delivery dates and pricing as market-specific until Honda’s local materials confirm them. A launch announcement in one region does not guarantee showroom availability elsewhere, and an image or prototype should not be treated as a retail specification.
2. CB500 Super Four and CBR500R Four: inline-four nostalgia in a small package
The source groups these two motorcycles as one entry because the return of a small-displacement inline-four is the attention trigger. Inline-four engines have a distinctive high-revving character and a strong place in Honda history; putting that layout into approachable middleweight-sized motorcycles gives enthusiasts something unusual to discuss in an era when many manufacturers favor twins.

Two interpretations of the same idea
The CB500 Super Four is the more upright, standard-style interpretation, while the CBR500R Four applies the concept to a faired sportbike. The pairing therefore appeals to two different riders without pretending the bikes serve exactly the same purpose.
Why the caveat is important
The discussion is tied to a China-market context, and the available description is limited. Do not assume global distribution, final equipment, engine output, emissions certification or a confirmed price. Until Honda publishes complete information for a specific country, these motorcycles are best understood as notable format returns rather than universally available recommendations.
3. Honda XL750 Transalp: a revived name with middleweight reach
“Transalp” carries heritage value, and reviving the name gives Honda an immediate bridge between its past and the current adventure market. The XL750 Transalp attracted attention because it targets riders who want a motorcycle capable of touring, rougher roads and everyday use without moving directly to the largest adventure class.

The important point is positioning. This is not the same proposition as a heavyweight, expedition-focused machine, nor is it simply a street bike with tall suspension. Buyers should examine seat height, luggage options, wheel sizes, suspension travel, rider aids and fuel capacity in the exact regional trim. Those details can vary by model year and market, so a general internet specification sheet may not describe the motorcycle sold locally.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute4. Honda CBR650R E-Clutch: a sportbike that can manage the clutch
The CBR650R E-Clutch combines a conventional sportbike format with Honda’s E-Clutch system. That pairing is the novelty: the motorcycle keeps a manual-style riding experience while using electronics to assist clutch operation in situations such as pulling away, shifting and stopping.
Who notices the difference
For a newer rider, the system can reduce the workload of low-speed starts and traffic. For an experienced rider, it offers the possibility of smoother launches and less hand fatigue without turning the motorcycle into a scooter or removing the rider’s control of gear selection. The appeal is therefore broader than a simple automatic-versus-manual argument.
Check the version, not just the name
“CBR650R” and “CBR650R E-Clutch” should not be treated as interchangeable listings. Confirm that the E-Clutch-equipped version is sold in your country, and check the equipment list and price for the relevant model year. The technology is the reason for the attention; it is not evidence that every CBR650R has it.
5. Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES: electronic suspension in an adventure-tour package
The Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES drew attention by combining Honda’s large adventure-touring platform with a more equipment-heavy specification. The “ES” designation is associated with electronic suspension, making the motorcycle notable to riders who compare long-distance comfort, load management and on-road handling as closely as they compare off-road ability.
This is a motorcycle for covering distance with luggage and changing road surfaces, not a direct competitor to the compact Transalp or a replacement for a dedicated sportbike. Electronic suspension can alter setup convenience and adaptation to load, but the exact modes, adjustment range and other equipment must be checked against the local model-year specification. Regional packages and updates mean that a review of one market may not describe another.

6. Honda Valkyrie Rune: a showpiece that stayed memorable
The Valkyrie Rune earned lasting attention through design rather than through a current technology launch. Its radical styling makes it immediately recognizable, and its role as a Honda showpiece gives it an aura that ordinary production cruisers rarely achieve.
That makes the Rune a retrospective internet phenomenon. Interest today is likely to center on photographs, ownership stories, rarity and condition rather than on a new-bike shopping decision. Anyone considering one should investigate the individual motorcycle’s maintenance records, originality, storage history, title status and parts availability. A collectible’s asking price can reflect scarcity and presentation as much as mechanical specification, so a headline figure is not a dependable valuation for every example.
7. Honda CBR600RR: the supersport that depends on geography
The CBR600RR represents the return—or continued availability, depending on the market—of a dedicated middleweight supersport. That category remains unusually focused: high-revving performance, track capability and aerodynamic bodywork take priority over relaxed ergonomics or broad utility.
Recommended Free Tools
Its internet appeal comes partly from the model’s name and partly from availability differences. A motorcycle that is absent from one country’s new-bike lineup can become especially prominent when enthusiasts see it offered elsewhere. Before comparing prices or specifications, establish whether Honda sells the CBR600RR new in your jurisdiction, which model year is current there and what emissions or equipment changes apply.
As with any supersport, intended use matters more than a single headline specification. The riding position, heat, insurance, tire consumption and limited low-speed practicality are part of the ownership decision, even though the online conversation often concentrates on engine performance.
8. Honda CB1000 Hornet SP: premium intent in a naked-bike package
The CB1000 Hornet SP attracted attention by placing liter-class performance in a naked-bike format and adding premium-component positioning. Removing a full fairing exposes the engine and simplifies the visual design, while the “SP” badge signals a higher-spec version rather than a cosmetic trim alone.

- Honda VFR750R in a Shiny White Finish!
- 1:64 Scale Diecast Toy Motorcycle
- Number 4/5 in the Moto Set, Number 224/250 in the Series!
That combination appeals to riders who want strong acceleration and sharper hardware without adopting the tucked-in posture of a superbike. It also creates a common comparison trap: a naked liter bike may share performance DNA with a sportbike, but its ergonomics, wind protection, suspension calibration and intended road use are different.

9. Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP: the flagship superbike headline
The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is the list’s clearest example of attention generated by race-derived positioning. It sits at the flagship end of Honda’s road-sport range, where aerodynamic development, electronics and track-oriented chassis tuning matter as much as engine output.
Its audience is not simply anyone seeking a fast motorcycle. A superbike’s value depends on whether the owner can use its capability—on a track, at a riding school or on carefully chosen roads—and accept the costs of specialist tires, insurance, protective gear and maintenance. The “SP” version should be identified by its actual equipment, not assumed to match every Fireblade sold under a similar name.
Because specifications and legal equipment can change by market and model year, use Honda’s local product information for a current comparison. Internet discussions often mix test-market versions, previous updates and race technology that is not fitted to the road motorcycle.

The RC213V-S stands apart because it translates Honda’s MotoGP-inspired concept into an exceptionally exclusive road motorcycle. Its appeal is the connection to Honda’s premier racing technology and the fact that it was never intended to be an ordinary-volume sportbike.

That makes collectibility central to the story. Buyers and enthusiasts care about provenance, mileage, originality, documentation, storage and access to specialist servicing. A low odometer reading does not by itself prove a sound purchase, and a motorcycle that resembles a race machine may require a very different ownership plan from a mass-produced CBR.
The RC213V-S is therefore best viewed as a technological and cultural artifact as much as transportation. Availability, registration rules and support can vary sharply by country, so any real-world transaction requires model-specific legal and mechanical due diligence.
How the ten bikes differ—and why they should not be ranked as purchases
| Attention driver | Models in this group | What the driver means |
|---|---|---|
| New propulsion or control technology | WN7; CBR650R E-Clutch | People are reacting to how the motorcycle works, not only to speed or styling. |
| Revived or historically loaded name | CB500 Super Four; CBR500R Four; XL750 Transalp; CBR600RR | Heritage and a return to a less common format create discussion, especially where availability differs. |
| Adventure equipment | XL750 Transalp; Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES | The comparison is about travel range, terrain, load carrying and electronic suspension or other touring equipment. |
| Radical or collectible design | Valkyrie Rune; RC213V-S | Rarity, styling and historical significance can matter more than everyday practicality. |
| Peak performance positioning | CB1000 Hornet SP; CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP | Premium components and race influence attract enthusiasts, but do not make the bikes direct substitutes. |
These categories explain why a single “winner” would be misleading. A commuter deciding between electric power and a petrol engine has a different question from a collector seeking a Rune, while an adventure rider is weighing luggage and suspension rather than MotoGP lineage.
A sensible way to evaluate one of them
- Identify the exact market. Check Honda’s official site for your country, because availability, certification, equipment and naming can differ.
- Pin down the model year. Do not combine a current-page specification with an older price or a launch photograph from another year.
- Match the motorcycle to its use. Choose among electric road riding, everyday sport riding, adventure touring, collecting, naked-bike performance or track-focused riding before comparing numbers.
- Verify the version. “E-Clutch,” “Adventure Sports ES” and “SP” identify meaningful equipment differences; confirm what is actually fitted.
- Budget the ownership realities. Include insurance, tires, servicing, protective equipment, luggage or charging hardware where relevant.
- For older or rare bikes, inspect the individual example. Provenance, documentation, condition and parts support can outweigh a model’s internet reputation.
Why online attention is not a buying recommendation
Internet visibility rewards novelty and strong visual identity. It does not measure reliability, dealer support, comfort for your height, insurance cost or whether a motorcycle is legally available where you live. The list also combines current announcements with machines whose interest is retrospective, so it cannot function as a current sales chart.
Use it instead as a map of Honda’s different ways of making enthusiasts pay attention: electric propulsion, clutch automation, revived names, adventure capability, radical design, limited production and race technology. Once the reason for the attention is clear, verify the local motorcycle and make the purchase decision on fit, support and intended use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these Honda motorcycles ranked by actual internet traffic?
No. “Broke the internet” is an editorial description of attention. The list does not provide comparable page-view, search or social-media measurements.
Can I buy all ten motorcycles in any country?
No. The group spans different markets and model years. The CB500 Super Four and CBR500R Four are discussed in a China-market context, and the CBR600RR and other models may have different availability elsewhere.
Which model is the most practical?
There is no universal answer. Practicality depends on use: the Transalp and Africa Twin suit adventure travel, the CBR650R targets sport-road riding, the WN7 represents electric road use, and the Rune and RC213V-S are primarily distinctive or collectible machines.
