The 1.99% Model Y APR and free Model 3 Performance paint colors tied to an FSD purchase were reported as Tesla promotions in July 2024—not as offers still open today. As of October 4, 2026, Tesla’s U.S. offers page lists 1.99% APR for several non-Performance Model Y trims and 3.99% for Model Y Performance, subject to credit and other conditions. The 2024 paint incentive is only established here as a historical report.
What the 2024 report said
Notebookcheck reported on July 19, 2024, that Tesla was offering 1.99% APR financing on the Model Y to customers who ordered by August 31 and took delivery by the end of September. The report described the rate as replacing an earlier 0.99% promotion. Those deadlines are in the past. The original linked Tesla social post could not be retrieved, so these details should be understood as Notebookcheck’s contemporaneous reporting, not independently confirmed Tesla contract terms. Notebookcheck’s July 19, 2024 report.
Model 3 Performance paint and FSD
The same report said buyers of a Model 3 Performance could get any paint color, including Ultra Red, at no additional charge if they also purchased Full Self-Driving (Supervised). Notebookcheck characterized the $2,000 paint option as making the effective FSD price $6,000 in that offer. These were reported 2024 figures and do not establish current paint or FSD pricing, or that the package remains available.

Does the current U.S. page show the Model 3 paint deal?
The current offers information cited here lists Model 3 Performance at 1.99% APR, but it does not establish that Performance paint colors are free with an FSD purchase. The 2024 paint offer and the current financing offer are distinct promotions: do not assume that financing eligibility includes a paint incentive or requires FSD.
