Those are manufacturer-published figures—not independent test results—and Tesla says the acceleration time subtracts rollout. The refreshed model was announced on April 23, 2024, so it is not a newly launched 2026 car.
How much horsepower does the new Tesla Model 3 Performance have?
Tesla’s current Model 3 Performance specifications page lists 510 hp of peak power, dual-motor all-wheel drive and a 163 mph top speed. These are Tesla’s published specifications; no independent dyno or road-test result is established here.
How fast is the Model 3 Performance from 0 to 60?
Tesla quotes 2.9 seconds for 0–60 mph. Its specification-page footnote says the time subtracts rollout, so it should not be read as an independently measured, instrumented acceleration run or compared directly with figures measured under different conventions.
What is the range of the Model 3 Performance?
The Performance-specific Tesla page lists 309 miles of EPA-estimated range for the configuration shown there, including 20-inch Warp wheels. Tesla’s separate Model 3 product page showed 316 miles in the same 2026 search. Because Tesla pages can show different values by configuration, use the figure attached to the specific vehicle configuration and market rather than treating either number as a universal Performance range.

What changed on the refreshed Model 3 Performance?
Tesla announced the updated Performance on April 23, 2024. The company said its new adaptive damping system responds to driver and road inputs in real time, with the aim of balancing ride and handling while improving comfort. Tesla also described revised chassis hardware: a multi-section stabilizer bar, high-strength steel springs and stiffer suspension top mounts. These are the manufacturer’s engineering descriptions, not independently verified findings.
Tesla further claimed the updated car uses about 2% less energy than the previous-generation Model 3 Performance. That is a company-reported comparison, not a separately established efficiency test.

Track Mode and driver assistance
Tesla says Track Mode lets drivers adjust handling balance, stability control and regenerative braking. These controls are intended for track use; they do not change the need to drive within conditions and remain in control. Tesla also says Full Self-Driving (Supervised) requires driver attention.
The refresh’s headline figures describe Tesla’s stated performance targets, while its chassis changes explain what the company says is different beneath the bodywork. Price, delivery timing and market availability are not established by the cited specifications and may vary by location.
