What the Gamescom trailer revealed
Traxion’s August 19, 2025 report on the Gamescom trailer describes it as the first look at wet-weather racing and newly announced cars and circuits. Porsche was among the key reveals, with cars spanning contemporary endurance racing, GT competition and historic prototypes.

The trailer coverage named these cars:
- Porsche: 2023 963, 1970 917K, 911 GT3 R (992), 911 GT1-98 and 962C.
- Aston Martin: 2025 Valkyrie and AMR Vantage GT3 Evo.
- Ford: 2024 Mustang GT4.
These are models highlighted in the Gamescom trailer report, not a complete list of the game’s launch cars. Traxion’s August 19, 2025 coverage has the trailer-era announcement.
Which tracks appeared in the trailer?
The report named five circuits: Spa, the Nürburgring Nordschleife, Monza, Donington Park and Mount Panorama (Bathurst). It also described a planned total of 28 layouts across 18 locations. That figure belongs to the trailer-era report; it should not be read as confirmation that every layout was shown in the trailer or as a separately verified final launch count.

What the trailer showed about wet-weather racing
The Gamescom report described True2Track as including adaptive racing lines that dry as conditions change, alongside a 24-hour day-and-night cycle. A later GIANTS Software press-center description added evolving grip, puddle formation, drainage, drying lines and marbles. These are publisher descriptions of the system, not independent performance-test results.
GIANTS Software’s October 17, 2025 press release, covering a later True2Track trailer, called it “PMR’s primarily GPU-driven surface model that evolves lap-by-lap.” That statement refers to the later trailer, not the Gamescom reveal. GIANTS Software’s Project Motor Racing press releases include both announcements.

Project Motor Racing is now released
GIANTS Software identifies itself as the publisher and Straight4 Studios as the developer. The game launched November 25, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Steam’s current listing includes the base game and DLC products, including the V8 Power Pack, GT Icons Pack, Year 1 Season Pass, Japanese Prototypes Pack, Group 5 Revival Pack, GTE Decade Pack and Aussie Rivals Pack. Check the listing for current availability and product details, which can change.
