Suzuki’s retro-styled Jimny Heritage is back in Australia, but the renewed three-door special edition comes with two notable qualifications: Gear Patrol reports that this run is limited to 300 vehicles and is automatic-only. Suzuki Australia currently lists the Heritage from AUD $42,490 drive-away and confirms its Heritage trim and equipment; the limited allocation and numbering are reported by Gear Patrol rather than independently confirmed on Suzuki’s product page.
What is the Jimny Heritage, and where is it available?
The Jimny Heritage is an Australian-market special edition of Suzuki’s compact three-door Jimny, dressed with retro-inspired details. Gear Patrol describes the renewed edition as available only in Australia. Suzuki Australia’s current range page lists the Heritage in its local lineup, but the available information does not establish that this limited trim is offered in the United States or other markets.
There is a model-year discrepancy: Gear Patrol calls the returning edition a 2027 model, while Suzuki Australia labels its pictured Heritage trim “Jimny Heritage 2026.” Those labels come from different sources, so the safest description is the renewed Australian Jimny Heritage rather than treating either year as universally settled.
How many Jimny Heritage models are being made?
Gear Patrol reports a 300-vehicle allocation, numbered 301 through 600. It says the preceding 300-unit Heritage run was released in 2023 and supposedly sold out in five hours. The reported cap, numbering sequence and earlier sellout time are not independently confirmed on Suzuki Australia’s current product page.

Is the new Jimny Heritage automatic only?
Yes. Gear Patrol reports that the renewed three-door run is automatic-only, unlike earlier Heritage editions it says were offered with manual transmissions. Suzuki Australia’s current Heritage specification also lists an automatic transmission.
What is different about the Heritage edition?
The special-edition treatment is primarily visual and equipment-based. Gear Patrol describes old-school stripes, vintage-style badging, red mud flaps and an exclusive Heritage pack. Suzuki Australia’s listed Heritage equipment includes:

How much does the Jimny Heritage cost in Australia?

What engine does it have?
Gear Patrol reports a 1.5-liter inline-four producing 101 horsepower and 96 lb-ft of torque. Suzuki Australia’s current range page confirms the 1.5-liter engine family, but the retrieved official listing does not independently confirm those output figures. Treat the horsepower and torque numbers as Gear Patrol’s reported specifications.

This is a renewed, limited Australian Heritage edition rather than evidence of a global Jimny launch or a return to every market. Suzuki’s current local listing establishes that the Heritage trim is in its Australian lineup; the reported 300-unit cap and sequence come from Gear Patrol. For context, Suzuki says the original LJ10 launched in April 1970, giving the retro styling a link to the nameplate’s history: Suzuki Australia’s Jimny history.
