No single body layout is established for every Commander 8×8. New Atlas reports that SLRV intended to offer buyer-specific configurations, including a fixed-roof, single-storey layout and a two-storey version with a full-length pop-up upper module. Confirm which roof and living-space arrangement applies to a particular build; the name alone does not establish that it has the upstairs module.

New Atlas also describes infused composite fiberglass panels and a four-point torsion-free mounting system on the vehicle it covered. These are secondary-source descriptions, not a complete builder-issued technical specification for all Commanders.
What is known about its electrical system?
SLRV says the featured build uses a “groundbreaking electrical system,” but that is promotional language and does not provide measurable capacity or component details. New Atlas reported that the debut vehicle had a 9.5-kVA alternator for charging its battery from the engine. That figure is specific to the reported vehicle; it does not establish the alternator fitted to another customer’s build, battery capacity, or off-grid runtime.
