Which Slavia automatic has the DSG?
Škoda India lists the 1.5 TSI at 110 kW with a seven-speed DSG. The 1.0 TSI automatic is an eight-speed torque converter, not a DSG. Advice for one transmission should not be assumed to apply to the other. See the Škoda India Slavia specifications and its August 2026 new-Slavia announcement.

Škoda’s 2021 launch material described the seven-speed DSG’s ratios as offering “both sportiness and comfort.” That is the manufacturer’s product description, not a guarantee of a particular response in every situation.

Use the owner’s manual for your car’s production year and variant for selector operation, parking, hills and any guidance about low-speed driving. Škoda’s owner’s manual index includes a 02-2026 edition, but the index itself does not provide the DSG-specific instructions. Match the manual to your vehicle rather than assuming the newest edition covers every Slavia.

Because the model-specific instructions have not been established here, generic dual-clutch tips should not be presented as Škoda’s Slavia procedure. If the gearbox behaves in a way you consider abnormal, consult the matching manual and contact an authorised Škoda service centre rather than relying on an unverified driving workaround.
How often should you service the Slavia DSG?
No Slavia DSG maintenance interval or gearbox-fluid specification is established by the cited official material. Check the service schedule and record for your exact car, or ask authorised Škoda service to confirm the requirement against its model year and gearbox. Do not apply an interval or fluid specification taken from another Volkswagen Group vehicle: similarity of brand or transmission type does not establish compatibility.

Warranty and service-package checks
A June 2024 Škoda India announcement described a standard warranty of four years or 100,000 km, an optional extended warranty, and maintenance/service packages for the Kushaq and Slavia. These are terms announced in 2024, not confirmation of current coverage or eligibility. Ask Škoda India or an authorised dealer to verify the terms applicable to your vehicle before making a service decision. Read the 2024 announcement.

What to have ready when you contact service
- Your Slavia’s model year and exact variant, so the adviser can distinguish the 1.5 TSI DSG from the 1.0 TSI torque-converter automatic.
- The matching owner’s manual and available service records, especially if you are checking a fluid requirement or scheduled maintenance.
- A clear description of the behaviour or maintenance question you want resolved; ask the adviser to confirm the answer for your specific vehicle rather than quoting a generic DSG interval.
