Shelby American announced two 2026 Ford F-150 packages on June 25, 2026: a V6-powered Baja Raptor rated by Shelby at 555 horsepower and a V8 Raptor R rated at 1,000 horsepower. The company’s current Raptor R page advertises output of up to 1,000+ horsepower. These are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. Pricing depends on what is included: Shelby lists package-only starting prices that exclude the Ford chassis, while its launch announcement gives MSRPs for complete trucks.
What Shelby announced for 2026
The 2026 lineup pairs two different F-150 Raptors rather than offering one package at two power levels: the Baja Raptor is based on a V6 Raptor, while the Raptor R package is built around a supercharged 5.2-liter Predator V8. Shelby’s June 25, 2026 announcement describes the new packages and their equipment. Shelby’s current vehicle page uses an “up to 1,000+ hp” claim for the Raptor R; the announcement rates it at 1,000 hp.
The “900+ HP” figure in the original headline refers to Shelby’s earlier 2024 lineup, which the company described as offering up to 900+ horsepower. It is not the 2026 Raptor R figure. Shelby’s 2024 announcement also listed different package-only prices, so those should not be confused with current 2026 pricing.

Package-only starting prices come from Shelby’s vehicle page, which says the Ford chassis is not included. The complete-truck MSRPs come from the June 2026 launch announcement, which says they include a fully loaded F-150 Raptor. The sources do not itemize every possible option, tax, dealer charge, or regional difference; ask a dealer for a quote on the specific build.

What comes in the Baja Raptor package
The Baja Raptor combines Shelby’s V6 performance upgrade with substantial off-road and exterior equipment. Shelby’s June 2026 list includes:
- EcoBoost upgrade rated at 555 hp, with a one-piece heat shield, open-air performance intake and high-flow filter, oversized intake tube, aluminum intercooler, and Shelby-tuned BORLA exhaust.
- 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, two full-size spare wheel-and-tire mounts with spares included, and tire and speedometer recalibration.
- Premium lift springs, power-deployable running boards, Addictive Desert Designs replacement front and rear bumpers, Vision X lighting, a custom hood, and a Shelby Baja bed chase rack.
- Shelby leather seat covers, carbon-fiber-aesthetic trim, billet pedals, embroidered mats, and serialized badges.
The 37-inch tire specification is part of Shelby’s package equipment list; it does not establish fitment for every F-150 build or prove that a separately purchased tire listing will suit a particular wheel, load rating, or vehicle setup.

What makes the Raptor R different
The Raptor R package’s central change is its Shelby-engineered 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger on the 5.2-liter Predator V8. Shelby’s announcement rates the resulting package at 1,000 hp and names Bengal Red powder coating for the blower and intake manifold, a billet throttle body, high-flow performance intake, dual-core dual-pass intercooler, and Shelby-tuned BORLA exhaust. The company’s current page describes output as up to 1,000+ hp. Neither figure is presented as an independent dyno result.
Warranty and availability
Shelby announced a limited warranty of 3 years or 36,000 miles for the original owner. The company also described dealer availability as limited quantity. Because stock and terms can vary, confirm the warranty details, a specific truck’s availability, and the final build price with a Shelby dealer.

What the horsepower claims do—and do not—tell you
The 555-hp Baja Raptor and 1,000-hp Raptor R figures are Shelby’s published specifications. Shelby’s product page adds “up to” to its 1,000+ hp Raptor R claim, while the launch release states 1,000 hp. The supplied announcements and product page do not provide independent performance testing or a basis for comparing acceleration, towing, fuel economy, or durability between the packages. Treat the figures as manufacturer-reported output, not a guarantee of a particular result in every truck.
