A May 2026 report said the Continental GT750 and Himalayan 750 were in development for a planned FY2027 group of new motorcycles, but launch timing, final specifications, prices and market availability remain unverified.
Which Royal Enfield 750s have been reported?
Autocar India reported on May 7, 2026, that Royal Enfield was planning five new motorcycles in FY2027. The two 750-named models in that group were the Continental GT750 and Himalayan 750, both described as being in development. The report also named the Bullet 650, Himalayan 440 and Scram 450. These are reported plans, not confirmation that all five will reach production or launch within FY2027. Autocar India’s report is the source for the development and planning details.
Continental GT750
The reported name suggests a larger-capacity successor or addition to the road-focused Continental GT family, but the report does not establish its final engine capacity, performance, chassis, equipment or production status. Royal Enfield’s published specification sheet for the current Continental GT lists a 648cc engine, a useful reference point rather than a specification for the reported 750. Royal Enfield’s Continental GT specification sheet identifies the current model’s displacement.
Himalayan 750
The Himalayan 750 was also named as in development. Its name places it in the adventure-oriented Himalayan family, but there are no verified production specifications in the reviewed sources for its engine, suspension, wheels, weight, equipment or intended market. Treat the 750 designation as part of the reported model name, not proof of a final displacement.

How the reports compare with Royal Enfield’s confirmed range
Royal Enfield’s official India catalog lists current models including the Bullet 650 and Continental GT 650, but not either 750. Eicher Motors’ May 2026 business update likewise described the then-current premium range without listing a 750. That distinction matters: an industry report about development plans is not the same as a model appearing in the company’s current catalog. See Royal Enfield’s India motorcycle catalog and Eicher Motors’ investor materials.
The established Continental GT baseline is 648cc, according to its published technical sheet. Royal Enfield also presented the Bullet 650 with a 650cc parallel-twin engine in its 2025 EICMA media material, showing a recent announced expansion within the 650 range—not confirmation of the reported 750s. Royal Enfield’s media materials cover the EICMA announcement.

What is still unknown about the 750s?
The reviewed official catalog and company update do not list the 750s, and the industry report describes them as being in development. No official launch date or final technical or commercial details were established. In particular, the sources do not verify:
- Whether either model has been approved for production or will launch.
- Final engine displacement, power, torque or transmission details.
- Weight, chassis, suspension, wheel and tire setup, or equipment.
- Price, trims, country availability or a confirmed launch schedule.
Until Royal Enfield publishes specifications or a launch announcement, comparisons with current bikes or rivals on performance, equipment or price would be speculation.
Why the middleweight segment matters
Autocar India’s May 7, 2026 report said Royal Enfield held 90 percent of India’s 500–800cc motorcycle segment. That figure is attributed to the outlet’s report; the underlying market dataset was not established in the reviewed sources, so it should not be treated as an independently verified company statistic. The report’s segment framing is India’s 500–800cc category.
If the reported models do reach production, the GT and Himalayan names point toward different uses: a sport-oriented road motorcycle and an adventure motorcycle. A meaningful comparison will require official information on output and power delivery, chassis and suspension, wheels and tires, weight and ergonomics, equipment, price and where each is sold. Those details are not yet confirmed.
