Royal Enfield’s first electric motorcycle is the C6, sold under a distinct all-electric brand called Flying Flea. Announced at EICMA in November 2024, Flying Flea reached India in February 2025; Royal Enfield says the C6 launched there in April 2026. As of October 4, 2026, the India product page listed a ₹2,79,000 ex-showroom Bengaluru price and a claimed 154 km Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range. Those figures are specific to the India listing and are not a real-world range test.
What is Flying Flea, and how is it related to Royal Enfield?
Flying Flea is Royal Enfield’s all-electric motorcycle brand, with a separate product range. The company introduced it at EICMA on November 5, 2024, alongside two models: the classically styled C6 and the scrambler-styled S6. Royal Enfield presented the C6 as Flying Flea’s first electric motorcycle when it introduced the brand in India on February 21, 2025.

Royal Enfield’s Chief Growth Officer of Electric Vehicles, Mario Alvisi, described it as “a bold new chapter in Royal Enfield’s legacy—an entirely new brand born from our deep heritage and designed for the future.” That is the company’s positioning; Flying Flea is a distinct electric marque, not a separate motorcycle manufacturer.
When did the C6 launch, and where is it available?
Royal Enfield’s India product page described the C6 as launched in April 2026. The same page listed Bengaluru for bookings and test rides, with availability in other cities to be introduced in phases. Eicher Motors’ May 2026 release also described the C6 as launched and noted a Flying Flea store in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Booking windows and city coverage can change, so check the current regional product page before making plans.

The listed features include Fleaware.OS, five preset ride modes with customization, cruise control, lean-angle-sensing ABS, bi-directional crawl mode, auto-hold, USB-C charging and wireless phone charging. How does the C6 differ from the S6?
The C6 is the classically styled, road-biased first model. The S6 is a separate scrambler-styled model that Royal Enfield announced alongside it at EICMA 2024. They are distinct motorcycles, not alternate names or variants of the same C6 model. Royal Enfield has described the S6 as a model to follow; the available information here does not establish its launch timing, price or specifications.

Royal Enfield positions Flying Flea for connected, agile electric two-wheelers for the city and beyond. That is brand positioning, not evidence of the C6’s real-world range, comfort, reliability or touring suitability. The available information does not establish independent comparative road-test results.
