Royal Enfield has not announced a “Guerrilla 450 Scrambler.” The reported upcoming motorcycle is called the Scram 450, a prospective third model on the Himalayan and Guerrilla platform. Autocar India forecasts an India launch in Q1 2027, but Royal Enfield has not confirmed that timing, the specifications or even the model’s launch.
Is Royal Enfield launching a Guerrilla 450 scrambler?
There is no confirmed Guerrilla 450 scrambler variant. The Guerrilla 450 is an existing roadster, launched in 2024 and updated for 2026. The separate motorcycle described in current reporting is the Scram 450. Autocar India says it would sit between the Himalayan adventure bike and the Guerrilla roadster, sharing their Sherpa platform. Autocar India’s report identifies K2K as the project’s internal codename; Royal Enfield has not published a Scram 450 announcement or specifications.
When could the Scram 450 launch?
Autocar India forecasts an India launch in Q1 2027, while also describing a broader possibility of the first half of 2027. That is a media estimate, not a date confirmed by Royal Enfield. The company’s 2026 India release confirms updates to the Guerrilla 450, but does not announce a Scram 450 launch date. Availability outside India has not been established.
What is expected from the reported Scram 450?
All Scram 450 details below are expectations attributed to Autocar India, not final manufacturer specifications.

Engine and performance
The report expects a 452cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Sherpa engine, with output similar to the Himalayan and Guerrilla’s reported 40hp and 40Nm. The Scram could have a distinct engine tune or final-drive ratio. Royal Enfield has not confirmed its output, gearing or other engine specifications.
Wheels, tyres and suspension
Autocar expects a 19-inch front wheel, a 17-inch rear wheel, dual-purpose tyres, a USD fork and a rear monoshock. It has not established suspension travel, whether spoke wheels would support tubeless tyres, or whether alloy wheels will be available. Those details matter: the wheel and tyre setup can influence road feel and suitability for rough surfaces, but the reported sizes alone do not establish the bike’s off-road capability.

Who might the Scram 450 compete with?
Autocar India names Triumph’s Scrambler 400 models as likely rivals. That is a reported market expectation, not a confirmed competitor list from Royal Enfield. Until Royal Enfield publishes the Scram’s price, equipment and availability, a detailed comparison would be premature.
Royal Enfield’s 2026 release says 125,000 motorcycles have been built globally on the Sherpa platform. That company-reported milestone provides context for the shared platform; it does not confirm the Scram 450’s production status or launch.
