Does “plug-and-play” mean no drilling or installation work?
The package is reported to require no drilling or custom fabrication. That describes the design as reported; it is not a detailed fitting guide and does not confirm whether a dealer must perform setup, whether consumer installation is supported, or what tools or procedures are involved. Ask an authorized dealer what installation the package includes before buying.
Will it fit an older GP300S?
According to the announcement coverage, the sidecar is specified only for the 2027 GP300S and is not sold separately for pre-2027 GP300S scooters. The reports do not establish a retrofit kit for older scooters or compatibility with later model years. What does the scooter-and-sidecar package cost?
The reported U.S. MSRPs do not reconcile. Genuine Scooter Co.’s stated component prices, as reported by both outlets, are $6,199 for the 2027 GP300S and $3,199 for the sidecar. Added together, those figures equal $9,398 before destination or other fees. RideApart reports that sum, while Powersports Business prints a combined MSRP of $9,498—$100 more than its own listed component prices. Confirm the current package price and all charges with a dealer; neither report establishes an out-the-door total.

Powersports Business lists the sidecar’s reported equipment as:

The cited coverage does not establish handling, speed, braking distance, payload, or reliability figures for the sidecar package.
