The 2027 MINI Countryman Untamed Edition adds adventure-themed styling and hardware to two announced U.S. models: the gasoline-powered Countryman S ALL4 and electric Countryman SE ALL4. Production is planned to start in November 2026, with U.S. deliveries expected in early 2027. The S starts at $43,900 before destination and handling; U.S. pricing for the electric SE has not been announced.
When will the 2027 Countryman Untamed Edition arrive?
BMW Group says production is planned to begin in November 2026 at Plant Leipzig. The global market launch and U.S. customer deliveries are scheduled or expected for early 2027, respectively. These are announced plans, not a guarantee of a specific dealer arrival date. BMW Group PressClub USA
How much does the 2027 MINI Countryman Untamed cost?
In the United States, the Countryman S ALL4 Untamed Edition starts at $43,900, excluding destination and handling, according to BMW Group’s 2026 announcement. The manufacturer says U.S. pricing for the all-electric SE ALL4 will be announced later. BMW Group PressClub USA
MINI Canada lists starting MSRPs of $49,990 CAD for the S ALL4 and $64,690 CAD for the electric SE ALL4, with availability expected in early 2027. Those are Canadian figures, and the page separately presents all-inclusive prices; they are not directly comparable with U.S. pricing without accounting for currency, taxes, destination charges and included equipment. What is different about the Untamed Edition?
The announced U.S. edition combines appearance changes with specified chassis and tire equipment. BMW Group lists a 15 mm suspension lift with edition-specific chassis calibration, plus 19-inch Untamed Edition Spoke wheels fitted with Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires. Dark Steel exterior details and textured protective decals add to the rugged look. BMW Group PressClub USA
The edition also gets distinctive interior and cargo details. MINI Canada describes its version as having Hill Descent Control, Drive-off Support and MINI Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, along with 15 mm of additional height and standard 19-inch all-terrain tires. That is a Canadian regional description; confirm the final U.S. specification rather than assuming every listed feature carries over unchanged. MINI Canada

Which Untamed powertrain should buyers consider?
| U.S. edition | Powertrain | U.S. price status | Practical consideration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Countryman S ALL4 Untamed Edition | Gasoline | Starting at $43,900 before destination and handling, per BMW Group’s 2026 announcement | Compare the final local offer and equipment with the electric model. |
| Countryman SE ALL4 Untamed Edition | All-electric | Not yet stated by BMW Group for the U.S. | Consider whether charging access suits your regular routes and travel plans. |
The manufacturer’s broader 2027 Countryman lineup materials list S ALL4, JCW ALL4 and SE ALL4 variants, but the U.S. Untamed announcement names only the S ALL4 and SE ALL4 editions. Do not assume a JCW Untamed model is part of the announced U.S. offering. MINI USA
Is the Countryman Untamed good off-road?
The lift, all-terrain tires and edition-specific chassis calibration are concrete equipment changes, but they do not establish how the vehicle performs on trails. The cited manufacturer announcements provide no independent off-road test results. Treat “Untamed” as an edition name and styling theme, not proof of a specific level of trail capability; prospective buyers should review the final U.S. specification and seek relevant testing once vehicles are available.

What about roof racks and camping accessories?
MINI Canada depicts roof-rack base supports and an Autohome roof tent as accessories associated with the edition.
