Ringbrothers’ KINGPIN is a one-off reinterpretation of a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, unveiled at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Its reported powertrain pairs a supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 with a six-speed manual, while extensive chassis and body work sets it apart from a stock Mustang. The more-than-800-horsepower figure is a published build specification; the available coverage does not document an independent dyno test.
What is the Ringbrothers KINGPIN Mustang?
KINGPIN is Ringbrothers’ heavily modified take on the 1969 Mustang Mach 1. The company announced the car for a November 4, 2025 debut at its booth during SEMA in Las Vegas. Co-owner Jim Ring described the design brief this way: “We asked ourselves, ‘What would the final boss in a John Wick film drive?’ This was the result.”
Ringbrothers’ announcement and coverage report more than 5,500 build hours. That figure reflects the scale of a bespoke project, not a documented estimate for repeating the build on another car.
What engine is in the Ringbrothers KINGPIN Mustang?
Coverage reports a Wegner Motorsports 5.0-liter Coyote V8 topped by a Whipple supercharger. The stated output is more than 800 horsepower, paired with a Bowler Carbon Edition six-speed manual gearbox. This is a reported specification, not a published independent dyno result. Ford Muscle, Car and Driver, and duPont REGISTRY report the core powertrain details.

How has the chassis and body been changed?
The reported foundation is a Roadster Shop FAST TRACK Stage III platform converted back to a unibody. Ford Muscle reports that the body is widened 2 inches at the front and 3.5 inches at the rear, and that the wheelbase was extended 1.5 inches. Those changes are central to the car’s stance and packaging, and help explain why its parts list should not be read as a recipe for a stock 1969 Mustang.
What suspension, wheels, tires and brakes does it use?
Reported running-gear components include Fox RS single-adjustable coilovers and Brembo brakes. The wheel and tire sizes covered by duPont REGISTRY are:

The reports do not identify the exact Whipple kit SKU, full exhaust configuration, Dakota Digital gauge model, or complete component part numbers. They also do not establish current retail availability, prices, or compatibility for another vehicle. Treat these as component names attached to a custom build, not a complete shopping or installation specification.

KINGPIN is best understood as a finished, one-off build rather than a bolt-on conversion plan. Its wheel and tire package, suspension, and brakes belong to a car with major body and chassis modifications. A Mustang owner considering a similar direction would need to determine the intended power target, chassis architecture, body changes, transmission, brake and tire package, and street or track use before selecting parts. The published coverage gives no comparable tested performance or pricing for alternative builds.
