A Castle Hill Renault campaign page advertises the Symbioz Techno mild hybrid at $35,990 drive-away, describing it as $4,000 off. But Renault Australia’s hybrid-offers page returned a different figure: $39,990 drive-away, with a different campaign start date. Treat the lower price as a dealer-hosted offer, not a universally confirmed Renault Australia price, and get the current price and conditions in writing from a participating dealer.
What the $4,000 discount covers
The Castle Hill Renault campaign page lists the Symbioz Techno mild hybrid at $35,990 drive-away and states a $4,000 saving. Its terms apply to eligible new stock purchased and delivered from 1 October to 31 December 2026, while stocks last. The offer is limited to participating dealers and specifies no-cost paint with no added options; Renault reserves the right to vary, extend or withdraw it. See the Castle Hill Renault campaign terms.
Renault Australia’s hybrid special-offers page, however, returned a Symbioz Techno mild-hybrid price of $39,990 drive-away, with a purchase and delivery period beginning 20 August 2026. The pages therefore disagree on both price and start date. Confirm availability, the applicable campaign dates and the final drive-away amount directly with a participating dealer before making a decision. Check Renault Australia’s hybrid offers.
How the advertised offer compares with MY26 prices
Renault Australia’s 17 June 2026 MY26 announcement listed recommended retail prices before on-road costs. Those launch prices use a different basis from the campaign’s drive-away figures, so they should not be compared as if they were the same kind of quote.

What differs between the mild and full hybrids
The two powertrains are not interchangeable: Renault lists different engines, outputs and fuel-consumption figures for the mild- and full-hybrid versions.

Renault’s 4.7 L/100 km figure is a WLTP laboratory measurement for the full hybrid, not a guarantee of real-world consumption. Compare the versions using the same driving conditions and consider which powertrain best suits your use. Renault Australia’s Symbioz specifications.
Boot space, warranty and servicing
Renault’s launch figures also show different luggage capacities. The rear bench slides forward by 16 cm in the measurements below; moving it forward increases luggage room while reducing rear-seat space.

Renault announced five years of unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty coverage and service intervals of 12 months or 30,000 km, whichever comes first. Its Australian model information separately describes eight years or 160,000 km of battery warranty coverage for full-hybrid versions.
