What did Ram tease for January 1?
In December 2025, Ram teased a truck reveal for January 1, 2026. The Drive reported the caption as “Desert winds don’t whisper… they roar. Get ready. 01-01-26,” and said the video included the words “Power Will Be Reborn” (The Drive). Motor1 likewise described a sand-filled teaser ending with “Power Will Be Reborn” and the January 1 date; its suggestion that the truck could be a TRX was speculation at the time (Motor1).
Ram’s later announcement established what the teaser had foreshadowed: the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT. January 1 was the reveal date indicated in the teaser, not a future event.
What is the returning 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT?
Ram describes the TRX SRT as a high-performance 1500 powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8. The company says it produces 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. Ram also publishes a 0–60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 118 mph. These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results (Ram Trucks).

How much does the 2027 TRX SRT cost?
In its June 22, 2026 U.S. order announcement, Ram gave the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX SRT a starting MSRP of $99,995, plus a $2,795 destination charge. Those are Ram’s announced U.S. figures, not a dealer quote; the final price may differ by configuration, options, and dealer charges (Stellantis North America).
