Marruecos es una base importante para fabricar modelos Dacia populares en Europa, en particular el Sandero y el Jogger. Pero las fuentes disponibles no demuestran que el país lidere la producción europea por volumen: sí identifican qué modelos se fabrican allí, dónde se hacen y qué se sabe de sus ventas y exportaciones.

La conexión más directa entre las fábricas marroquíes y los coches populares en Europa es Dacia: Sandero y Logan salen de Casablanca, mientras que el Jogger se fabrica en Tánger. Marruecos también produce vehículos de otras marcas, pero sus cifras y actividades no deben confundirse con las de Renault o Dacia.
Por qué Sandero y Jogger son relevantes para Europa
Dacia Sandero
El Ministerio de Industria y Comercio marroquí indicó que el Sandero superó las 300.000 unidades comercializadas en 2024 y que fue el turismo más vendido en Europa en todos los canales ese año. Por separado, el informe de resultados de Renault Group identifica al Sandero como el turismo más vendido en Europa en 2025. Dacia Jogger
El Ministerio reportó 96.440 ventas del Jogger en Europa durante 2024 y lo situó en segundo lugar del segmento C, excluidos los SUV. Es una posición dentro de ese segmento, no un liderazgo general de ventas ni una cifra de producción marroquí. Fuente ministerial.

Como referencia de marca, Renault Group registró 601.765 vehículos Dacia en Europa en 2025 y una cuota del 7,9% del mercado minorista europeo de turismos. Esos totales se refieren a Dacia en Europa, no exclusivamente a Sandero, Jogger ni a unidades fabricadas en Marruecos. Resultados de Renault Group.
Qué se sabe de las exportaciones desde Marruecos
En septiembre de 2025, MAP/Maroc.ma reprodujo cifras publicadas por La Tribune según las cuales Renault produjo 413.600 vehículos en Marruecos durante el año anterior. El artículo también citó a Christophe Dridi, director industrial de Dacia, diciendo que el 80% de la producción marroquí se exportaba a Europa, principalmente a Francia, España, Italia y Alemania. Estas son cifras atribuidas a La Tribune y una declaración atribuida a Dridi, no una serie estadística primaria auditada por MAP. MAP/Maroc.ma.

El Kardian muestra por qué conviene no generalizar el destino de exportación de todos los modelos fabricados en el país. Renault Group anunció su producción en Casablanca y unos quince mercados de exportación, con destinos que incluyen países del Golfo y de África, Ucrania y Guadalupe. La lista demuestra alcance internacional, pero no que el Kardian abastezca de forma importante al mercado europeo. Renault Group.
¿Marruecos lidera la producción de coches para Europa?
La evidencia confirma que Marruecos es una base relevante de fabricación y exportación para modelos Dacia de gran aceptación en Europa. No basta, sin embargo, para afirmar que lidera la producción por país: no se ofrece una comparación homogénea de unidades fabricadas por modelo y ubicación entre los países que abastecen ese mercado.

También hay que separar métricas que responden a preguntas distintas. Las ventas europeas de un modelo miden la demanda; la capacidad anual de una planta indica lo que podría producir; y una cifra de producción nacional puede abarcar varios modelos y destinos. Por eso, las 96.440 ventas europeas del Jogger, los 413.600 vehículos Renault atribuidos a Marruecos y las 70.000 unidades de capacidad anunciada para micromovilidad en Kénitra no constituyen una comparación directa.

La actividad de Kénitra amplía el panorama industrial marroquí más allá de Dacia. El Ministerio identifica la producción de Citroën Ami, Opel Rocks-e y Fiat Topolino y anunció la ampliación de la capacidad anual de micromovilidad a 70.000 unidades desde enero de 2025. También comunicó el lanzamiento previsto de vehículos de plataforma Smart car desde febrero de 2026.
