The available manufacturer and review information supports a useful shortlist of five electric motorcycles, not a verified ranking of ten. These examples span sport, touring and road-legal supermoto riding—and their power, battery and range figures are not directly comparable without consistent test conditions.
How to compare powerful electric motorcycles
A headline power figure can conceal important differences. Where a manufacturer gives both peak and sustained output, keep them separate: peak power describes a maximum, while sustained output is a distinct rating. Battery capacity also needs context, since a maximum figure and a nominal figure are not interchangeable. Treat range as a claim tied to its stated test basis; where no comparable cycle is established, it cannot reliably rank one bike against another.
Riding purpose matters just as much. A sport-oriented motorcycle, a touring model and a road-legal supermoto serve different needs. Before buying, verify local road legality, regional dealer and service support, delivery timing, charging compatibility and current price with the manufacturer or an authorized dealer.
Five electric motorcycles with documented specifications
| Model | Documented figures | How to read them |
|---|---|---|
| Energica Eva Ribelle | 147 hp sustained; 169 hp peak (Energica model catalog) | Keep the sustained and peak ratings distinct. The catalog’s 0–60 mph claim is for the RS variant, not every Eva Ribelle. |
| Energica Experia | 22.5 kWh maximum battery capacity; 19.6 kWh nominal (Energica) | These are two different capacity ratings, not competing estimates of the same figure. |
| Energica Ego | 21.5 kWh maximum battery capacity; 18.9 kWh nominal (Energica) | Compare capacity on the same basis; the maximum and nominal values should not be mixed. |
| Verge TS Ultra | 33.3 kWh battery; more than 600 km claimed range (Verge) | These are Verge’s advertised figures. The available product information does not establish an independent test or a range cycle directly comparable with other models. |
| Verge TS Pro | 1,000 Nm wheel torque; 3.5-second 0–60 mph; 217-mile claimed range from a 20.2 kWh battery (TechRadar, 2025) | TechRadar reports these as manufacturer specifications; do not treat them as independently measured test results. |
What the figures say—and what they do not
Power and acceleration
The Eva Ribelle is the clearest example here of why “powerful” needs a precise definition: Energica lists separate sustained and peak ratings. The Verge TS Pro figures reported by TechRadar include wheel torque and an acceleration claim, but those measures are not a like-for-like substitute for the Eva’s horsepower ratings.

- Nitrogen-Filled Technology** - Prevents hydraulic oil from forming bubbles (cavitation) under high temperatures or continuous jolts, ensuring shock absorption performance remains unaffected after 5 hours of high-intensity off-road driving.Compared to conventional hydraulic dampers, it maintains 90% of performance during continuous use, preventing loss of control due to shock failure.
- Dual Hydraulic Disc Brakes & Steel Frame** - Large front and rear brake discs deliver consistent stopping power in mud, water, and sand. Reinforced steel frame supports up to 265 lbs while maintaining agile handling.
- TUV Certified & 1-Year Warranty** - Meets strict safety standards for electric bicycles. Easy assemble with tools included. US-based customer support and replacement parts available nationwide.
Battery and range
The Experia and Ego capacity figures show why nominal and maximum battery capacity should be labeled rather than collapsed into a single number. Verge’s TS Ultra range is more than 600 km according to Verge, while TechRadar reports a 217-mile claimed range for the TS Pro. The sources do not establish a shared test cycle or conditions for those range claims, so neither should be presented as proof that one model travels farther in equivalent real-world use.

Charging compatibility
Energica says its motorcycles are compatible with DC fast-charge infrastructure. That does not establish identical charging performance across models: the motorcycle, charger and conditions affect the result. Check the exact model’s connector and charging specifications before relying on a particular charging stop or rate. Energica’s technology information provides the manufacturer’s overview.
