The Porsche Cayenne Electric pairs a screen-led cockpit with physical and haptic controls, while its comfort equipment depends on body style, model grade and selected options. Porsche specifies a 12.25-inch curved central Flow Display and a 14.25-inch OLED driver cluster; a 14.9-inch passenger display is optional. In the SUV, electrically adjustable rear seats are standard, but front-seat configurations and features such as ventilation and massage vary.
How many screens does the Cayenne Electric have?
Porsche describes up to three displays: a 14.25-inch OLED instrument cluster for the driver, a 12.25-inch curved OLED Flow Display in the centre, and an optional 14.9-inch display for the front passenger. With the passenger screen fitted, Porsche says the available display area is 50% larger than in the combustion-engine Cayenne. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measures of usability.
A central display with a separate control area
The Flow Display curves down into the centre console. Its upper region presents information, while the lower area provides controls, with a palm rest intended to make interaction more ergonomic. Porsche says frequently used functions retain physical or haptic controls, so the cabin has not replaced every button with a touchscreen. Drivers can configure widgets and choose among five color schemes in the Themes app.
Optional passenger screen
The passenger display is optional and can be dimmed or switched off. Porsche announced on 24 April 2026 that Disney+ is available through the Porsche App Center in the Cayenne Electric for customers with an active Disney+ subscription. Playback on the central display is limited to when the car is stationary. Passengers can use the optional passenger screen while the vehicle is moving; Porsche says its display technology keeps content from being visible to the driver. This is not unrestricted video playback for the driver. Porsche Newsroom: Disney+ in the Cayenne Electric.

How adjustable are the SUV’s rear seats?
In the SUV, the standard electrically adjustable rear seats provide 150 mm of longitudinal travel and backrest adjustment. Moving the row lets occupants prioritize legroom and comfort or create more cargo space. Porsche quotes 553 litres of luggage capacity with the seats in their most comfortable position and up to 781 litres in the cargo position; folding the split rear backrests expands the space further. These figures apply to the SUV, not the Coupé. Porsche Australia: Cayenne Electric comfort.
What is Porsche surface heating?
Surface heating warms contact areas in the door panels and centre armrest, rather than heating only the seats. Porsche says it is linked to seat heating, offers three adjustable levels, and can be controlled through the Flow Display or My Porsche app. The company calls it a first for the Cayenne Electric range and describes it as low-energy; no independent comparative efficiency measurement is established here. What do the Cayenne Electric Mood Modes change?
Mood Modes coordinate several cabin settings, including lighting, seat functions, display animations, sound and climate. Porsche lists six generally available modes:
- Dynamic
- Relaxation
- Travel
- Entertainment
- Urban
- Focus
Three additional wellness modes—River Journey, Summer Dream and Thermal Spring—are available in combination with optional massage. The wellness modes are therefore not part of every configuration. Porsche Australia: Cayenne Electric comfort.

How much can buyers personalize the cabin?
Porsche describes choices of interior materials and colors, as well as an optional Interior Style Package through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The published Australian product information is not a complete availability or pricing list for other countries. Check the local configurator for the chosen body style and grade before treating an item as orderable or assuming it is included.
The distinction matters throughout the interior: the passenger screen, higher-specification front seats, ventilation, massage and some wellness functions depend on the selected configuration. Porsche’s design lead, Markus Auerbach, described the intention as combining Cayenne characteristics with new display surfaces and Porsche Digital Interaction in a cohesive package. That is the designer’s stated aim, not an independent assessment of how the interface works on the road. Porsche Newsroom USA: Cayenne Electric interior.
