What is the Porsche 911 GT3 RS?
The 992 GT3 RS is the track-focused, road-legal member of the 911 range. Porsche’s U.S. model page describes the 2023 car as a 518 hp high-performance sports car and provides official photos, videos, technical specifications, and a configurator. The figures and descriptions below come from Porsche materials; they should not be read as the results of an independent road or track test.
Porsche’s launch announcement emphasizes aerodynamic and chassis systems designed for track use, alongside a seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual-clutch transmission. Porsche says the PDK has a shorter overall gear ratio than the 911 GT3.

These are the specifications in Porsche’s August 17, 2022 launch release. Porsche does not identify them there as independent test results, so treat them as manufacturer-published claims rather than guaranteed performance under every condition.

How much does a Porsche 911 GT3 RS cost?
Porsche Cars North America listed the 2025 911 GT3 RS at $241,300 MSRP in its May 28, 2024 announcement, saying the then-current GT3 RS would continue into 2025 with pricing unchanged. This is a U.S. model-year MSRP—not a 2026 quote, dealer offer, or transaction price.
The announced MSRP excludes taxes, title, registration, dealer charges, and a $1,995 delivery, processing and handling fee. Porsche’s announcement does not establish a current dealer price, allocation, or any market-specific premium, so buyers should get a current written quote from a Porsche Center.

What is the GT3 RS Manthey Kit?
The Manthey Kit is a separate track-focused upgrade for the 992 GT3 RS, announced for U.S. availability in January 2025. Porsche describes it as a package of revised aerodynamic components, semi-active coilover suspension with revised spring rates, steel-encased brake lines, magnesium wheels, and a larger water tank for intercooler spray cooling.
Porsche reported that a GT3 RS fitted with the kit produces more than 2,200 pounds of downforce at 177 mph, and that the package increases downforce by 20 percent without additional drag. These are Porsche-published claims, not independent measurements in this article. Porsche announced the kit at $116,160 MSRP, excluding taxes and dealer installation; that price is additional to the car’s MSRP.

Porsche says the kit is sold and installed through Manthey-certified U.S. Porsche Centers. Ask a center to confirm fitment, current availability, and the installed price. The announced MSRP alone does not establish inventory or a final customer cost.

Porsche’s GT3 RS model page includes official photos and videos, as well as links to technical specifications and the configurator. These are manufacturer images, not photographs from an independent test.
