Porsche has not confirmed that trim or published its output. The confirmed Cayenne Turbo Electric already has a U.S.-market rating of 1,139 hp under specific Launch Control conditions—but that figure belongs to the Turbo, not the suspected GT.
What do the Cayenne EV spy shots appear to show?
On October 2, 2026, Jalopnik’s Daniel Golson reported that spy photographers had captured a minimally camouflaged vehicle he identified as a suspected Cayenne Turbo GT Electric. The images prompted speculation that Porsche may be developing a more extreme electric Cayenne. The GT name is an interpretation of the prototype, not a trim Porsche has announced. Jalopnik’s report
An earlier report from Autoblog, published February 24, 2026, likewise interpreted spy photos as showing a more aggressive, coupe-style Cayenne EV that could sit above the Turbo Electric. Its proposed identity and positioning are predictions, not confirmed product details. Autoblog’s report
What power does Porsche confirm?
Porsche’s November 2025 global announcement introduced the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric as the initial all-electric range. For the Turbo Electric, Porsche listed up to 850 kW (1,156 PS) and up to 1,500 Nm under Launch Control. PS is metric horsepower; the same 850 kW output is listed as 1,139 hp on Porsche Cars North America’s U.S. model page. These are two unit conventions for the confirmed Turbo, not specifications for a GT. Porsche’s global announcement · Porsche Cars North America model page

As of October 8, 2026, the U.S. page calls 1,139 hp the Turbo Electric’s maximum overboost power with Launch Control. The number supports describing the existing Turbo as a 1,000-plus-hp electric SUV in that market-specific context; it does not substantiate the rumored GT’s output. The cited reports do not establish any official power figure for a GT.

What is confirmed about charging?
Porsche’s Singapore regional announcement of July 22, 2026 cites charging at up to 400 kW and a 10–80% charge in as little as 16 minutes, conditions permitting. These are figures from that market announcement; they do not confirm a GT trim or establish its charging performance. Porsche Singapore announcement
What the reports do—and do not—establish
- Reported: Spy photographers captured a prototype that outlets interpret as a possible more aggressive, coupe-style electric Cayenne.
- Unconfirmed: Whether Porsche will call it a Turbo GT, when it might arrive, and what its power, price, or production specification would be.
- Officially specified: Porsche has announced the Cayenne Turbo Electric, with its power and performance figures attributed to that model and to the stated measurement conditions.
There is not enough confirmed information for a Turbo-versus-GT specification or price comparison. Treat projected GT output as speculation until Porsche publishes a specification. For current U.S. Turbo Electric pricing, the cited Porsche page is the relevant reference; it does not list a GT price.
