Choose the class and progression first, then the motorcycle. Ohvale offers a clearly labeled path from the automatic GP-0 110 to four-speed GP-0 and GP-2 models, while the Bucci BR12-GP 3.0 and Kayo MR150 are 12-inch-wheel alternatives with different engine, gearbox, seat-height and support considerations. Published prices are regional snapshots, not a like-for-like ownership cost. Before paying, match the bike to the event’s current rules, the rider’s fit and experience, local parts support, and a written landed-cost quote.
What the comparison actually establishes
The useful question is not simply whether an Ohvale is “better” than a Bucci or Kayo. These motorcycles occupy different points on a MiniGP progression. A suitable choice depends on the rider’s age and experience, whether automatic or manual shifting is wanted, the class available at the track, wheel size, suspension and brake trim, physical fit, and the support network in the country where the bike will run.

Ohvale’s own labels describe the GP-0 110 Automatic as introductory, the GP-0 110 4S as beginner, the GP-0 160 as medium level, and the GP-2 160 and GP-2 190 as advanced or expert. Those are manufacturer positioning statements, not an independent assessment of every rider’s ability. Bucci’s BR12-GP 3.0 is a configurable 12-inch platform whose engine package changes with the selected option. Kayo’s MR150 specification page lists 125cc and 150cc versions, a five-speed gearbox and a low listed seat height.

| Bucci BR12-GP 3.0 (2026 listing) | Engine choices from 110cc through 190cc, depending on the selected engine package | 12-inch wheels; 740mm listed seat height; 3.3L tank; adjustable fork and shock | Configurable alternative. Compare the exact engine, brakes, suspension trim and regional package rather than the family name alone. |
| Kayo MR150 | 125cc and 150cc versions listed; five-speed gearbox | 12-inch wheels; 668mm listed seat height; 85kg dry weight | Potential configuration and value comparison, but the available specification is older than the 2026 Ohvale and Bucci pages. Confirm the current model year and support. |
How Ohvale’s progression is organized
GP-0 110 Automatic: simplest entry point
The GP-0 110 Automatic combines a 110cc air-cooled engine with an automatic transmission and 10-inch wheels. Ohvale positions it as introductory. That combination removes clutch and gear-selection tasks while a new rider learns braking, throttle control, cornering lines and track etiquette.
Automatic does not mean universally suitable. A track may require a different technical specification, and a rider intending to progress into a manual-shift class may eventually need a second motorcycle or a conversion in learning technique. Ask the organizer whether the automatic model is legal in the intended practice or race group, and confirm what replacement drive, tire and brake parts are available locally.
GP-0 110 4S EVO: beginner bike with manual shifting
The GP-0 110 4S EVO keeps the 10-inch format but adds a four-speed gearbox. Ohvale labels it beginner rather than introductory. It is the logical comparison when the rider is ready to coordinate clutch, gear selection and engine braking, or when the local series is built around manual-shift machines.

Rules can specify displacement, wheel diameter, tire type, engine preparation or control components. Obtain the current technical regulations from the series or track before ordering.
GP-0 160 4S EVO: the 10-inch 160cc step
The GP-0 160 4S EVO is a 160cc, four-speed motorcycle on 10-inch wheels and is listed with Pirelli slicks. Ohvale states that it is the bike selected for the 160cc category of the FIM MiniGP World Series. That statement identifies a specific competition role; it is not proof that every national championship, club race or open practice uses the same equipment.
Ohvale’s MotoMini material describes riders between 10 and 14 years old competing on equal GP-0 160cc and GP-2 190cc machinery. Treat that as a description of the referenced series, not a universal age rule. National organizers can set different ages, homologation requirements and equipment limits. Check the current regulations in the country where the rider will compete.
GP-2 160 4S: 12-inch advanced option
The GP-2 160 4S raises the wheel size to 12 inches while retaining a 160cc four-speed format. Ohvale positions the GP-2 line as advanced. The comparison with the GP-0 160 is therefore more than a displacement question: wheel size, chassis dimensions, rider position, tire availability and the allowed class specification can all change.

A 12-inch wheel may be the better fit for a taller rider or for a series built around that diameter, but wheel size alone does not establish cornering speed or compatibility. Check the complete tire specification, rim width, permitted compounds and replacement availability at the tracks you will use.
GP-2 190 4S: highest-capacity Ohvale in this group
The GP-2 190 4S uses a 190cc Daytona engine, a four-speed gearbox and 12-inch wheels. Ohvale positions it as an expert model and identifies it with the 190cc MotoMini class. The additional capacity should be considered alongside rider experience, physical control and the event’s rules, not as a simple upgrade that every GP-0 rider should make.
Before buying, ask what training or qualifying expectations apply, whether the organizer requires a specific engine or restrictor, and whether local technicians can service the exact Daytona configuration. A higher-capacity engine can also alter consumable use and preparation costs, although the cited specifications do not establish a comparative lifecycle cost.
MiniGP alternatives to the Ohvale range
Bucci BR12-GP 3.0: configurable 12-inch platform
The 2026 BR12-GP 3.0 listing specifies 12-inch wheels, a 740mm seat height, a 3.3-liter fuel tank and adjustable fork and shock. Bucci offers engine choices from 110cc through 190cc depending on the selected engine option and lists multiple engine brands or configurations. That flexibility can be useful when a club class or rider requires a particular capacity, but it makes the family name an incomplete description.

Request the exact written build sheet. It should identify displacement, engine make, gearbox, carburetion or fuel system, fork and shock specification, brake components, wheels, tires and included spares. The UK distributor’s listing notes that Italian-specification and UK-specification packages can differ and that delivery is additional. A motorcycle advertised as a BR12-GP 3.0 in one country may therefore not be equipped identically to one in another.
The 740mm seat height is substantially higher than the 668mm figure listed for the Kayo MR150. That does not by itself determine comfort: rearset position, bar height, seat shape and rider inseam also matter. Arrange a physical fit check rather than choosing from seat height alone.
Kayo MR150: five-speed, 12-inch alternative
Kayo’s cited MR150 page lists 125cc and 150cc versions, a five-speed gearbox, 12-inch wheels, a 668mm seat height and an 85kg dry weight. Those figures make it a useful configuration comparison with the 10-inch GP-0 models and the 12-inch Bucci and GP-2 machines.

The Kayo specification page is older than the 2026 Ohvale and Bucci pages, and it does not establish a current price. Confirm the model year, engine variant, equipment actually supplied by the local dealer and parts availability before treating the page as a current offer. A five-speed gearbox also means that class compatibility must be checked; a 125cc or 150cc motorcycle may not be legal in a 160cc or 190cc category even if its chassis is suitable.
Seven checks to make before choosing
1. Match the motorcycle to the actual class
Start with the event, not the catalog. Obtain the current technical and sporting regulations for the national series, club championship or practice organization. Confirm displacement limits, wheel diameter, tire rules, engine restrictions, rider age, safety equipment and whether the bike must be a specified model or merely meet a performance-equipment rule.
The FIM MiniGP and MotoMini descriptions cited above concern particular programs. They should not be generalized to every country. If the rider will attend several series, make a small compatibility sheet and mark each bike against each rule before purchasing.
2. Compare engine and gearbox together
Displacement is only one part of the decision. The Ohvale range includes an automatic 110cc and four-speed 110cc, 160cc and 190cc models. Kayo lists 125cc and 150cc variants with five speeds. Bucci’s BR12-GP 3.0 can be ordered with engines spanning 110cc to 190cc. Gear count, clutch operation, engine make, tuning restrictions and the class in which the bike will run all matter.
Ask the seller whether the quoted engine is standard, race-prepared or supplied with a restrictor. Confirm what maintenance parts are included and whether the replacement engine or gearbox components are stocked in your region. None of the cited sources provides an independent reliability or service-interval comparison, so do not infer one from displacement or brand positioning.

3. Treat wheel, tire and consumable supply as a system
Ohvale’s GP-0 models use 10-inch wheels, while the GP-2, Bucci BR12-GP and Kayo MR150 specifications cited here use 12-inch wheels. The GP-0 160 listing names Pirelli slicks. Wheel diameter affects fit, chassis geometry, tire choice and class legality, but it does not by itself establish lap-time performance.
Before committing, ask the track or series:
- Which rim and tire sizes are legal?
- Are slicks mandatory, optional or prohibited?
- Which compounds are normally available from local suppliers?
- What is the replacement cost and typical lead time?
- Are tire warmers, wet tires or particular valve and rim specifications required?
The cited factory specifications do not provide universal tire-pressure settings. Use the tire maker’s and event organizer’s guidance for the exact tire, temperature and track conditions rather than copying a number from an unrelated bike.

4. Identify the actual suspension and brake trim
Suspension and brakes can vary within a model family. The Bucci listing specifically describes adjustable fork and shock components, while the Ohvale material covers several models and trims. Ask whether adjustability, caliper type, rotor size, master cylinder and rear-shock specification are standard on the quoted motorcycle or optional upgrades.
Request photographs or a component list for the exact unit if the dealer is selling from stock. “Race” or “EVO” in a model name does not tell you every installed component, and a used bike may have replacement parts that differ from its original specification.

Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →5. Check rider fit in person
Published seat heights are incomplete across the Ohvale range. The available comparison figures are 740mm for the Bucci BR12-GP 3.0 and 668mm for the Kayo MR150. Seat height alone does not describe reach to the bars, knee angle, peg location or the ability to move across the seat.
Have the rider sit on the exact motorcycle wearing riding gear. Check that both feet can be placed securely when required, the knees are not forced against the tank or frame, the wrists remain neutral at full steering lock, and the controls can be operated without stretching. Ask whether rearsets, bars, levers or seat foam can be adjusted and whether those changes remain legal in the intended class.
6. Price the motorcycle as landed and ready to run
A catalog or dealer price is not the ownership price. Request a written quote that separates motorcycle, freight, import or delivery charges, tax, assembly, preparation, starter equipment, spare wheels, tires, brake pads, chains, fluids and any required safety accessories. Include travel or transport to the track if the bike cannot be serviced locally.
Verify warranty terms, who performs warranty work, which parts are held in-country, and how long routine service items take to arrive. The available sources do not establish comparable warranty coverage or total ownership cost, so those items must be confirmed with the seller in the buyer’s region.
7. Inspect used motorcycles as individual machines
For a used bike, match the frame and engine numbers, model year and installed options to the relevant factory specification. A qualified mechanic should inspect:

- Frame alignment, welds and evidence of crash repair.
- Fork tubes, seals, shock operation and linkage play.
- Wheel runout, rim damage, bearings and axle condition.
- Brake discs, calipers, hoses, master cylinders and pad thickness.
- Engine starting behavior, oil leaks, compression or leak-down results and gearbox engagement.
- Chain, sprockets, controls, wiring and fuel system.
- Availability and price of replacement parts for the exact model year.
These are general due-diligence checks, not claims that any cited model has a particular defect pattern. A low asking price is not a saving if the motorcycle needs unavailable wheels, suspension service or an engine rebuild.

Which choice fits common buying situations?
A rider starting with no manual-shift experience
Look first at the GP-0 110 Automatic if the intended class allows it and the goal is to learn basic track control without clutch and gear-selection workload. If the rider will soon enter a manual-shift class, compare the GP-0 110 4S instead and include coaching time in the decision.
A beginner who wants to learn shifting immediately
The GP-0 110 4S EVO is the Ohvale model specifically labeled beginner with a four-speed gearbox. A Kayo 125/150 or Bucci configuration may also be considered, but their five-speed or configurable engine arrangements must be checked against class rules and the rider’s physical fit.
A rider targeting a documented 160cc MiniGP pathway
Start with the GP-0 160 4S EVO’s stated role in the FIM MiniGP World Series 160cc category, then verify the current regulations for the relevant country. Do not assume that a 160cc motorcycle from another brand is interchangeable in a spec-controlled series.
A rider who needs a 12-inch platform
Compare the Ohvale GP-2 160, GP-2 190, Bucci BR12-GP 3.0 and Kayo MR150 as complete configurations. Check seat height, wheel and tire supply, class limits, suspension adjustability and local spares. The GP-2 models carry Ohvale’s advanced or expert positioning, while the Bucci and Kayo specifications do not provide an equivalent independent skill label.
A buyer focused on the lowest initial price
The Ohvale USA figures show the GP-0 110 Automatic at the lowest listed price among that seller’s displayed Ohvale range, but that does not make it the least expensive bike to operate in every country. Freight, tax, tires, parts, coaching, repairs and class fees can reverse an initial-price ranking. Compare complete landed quotes and the cost of consumables available near the track.

A practical purchase procedure
- Choose the target event. Download its current technical and age rules and write down displacement, wheel, tire and engine restrictions.
- Shortlist compatible configurations. Record the exact model, engine, gearbox, wheel size, tire specification and suspension or brake trim.
- Confirm fit. Arrange a sit-on inspection with the rider in gear; measure reach and control position, not just seat height.
- Call local support. Ask the dealer or experienced service shop about routine parts, engine work, suspension service, warranty handling and expected delivery times.
- Get comparable quotes. Request itemized prices including freight, tax, preparation, mandatory equipment and an initial spares package.
- Inspect before payment. For a used motorcycle, use a qualified mechanic and verify numbers, condition and parts availability.
- Recheck the rules at delivery. Confirm that the motorcycle supplied matches the configuration approved by the organizer; do not assume a dealer’s generic description is current.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
- Buying by displacement alone: A 150cc five-speed bike, a 160cc four-speed bike and a 190cc four-speed bike may belong to different classes. Match the complete rule set.
- Assuming all Ohvale models fit the same way: GP-0 uses a 10-inch format, while GP-2 uses 12-inch wheels and a different positioning in the range.
- Comparing a starting price with a ready-to-race price: Separate tax, delivery, preparation, tires and spares in every quote.
- Ignoring regional specification differences: The Bucci UK listing warns that Italian- and UK-specification packages can differ. Confirm the exact market build.
- Using a stale specification page as a current offer: The Kayo data is older than the 2026 Ohvale and Bucci listings. Verify model year, stock and price.
- Assuming a wheel-size change guarantees performance: Wheel diameter is a fit, geometry, tire and rules issue; it is not an independent lap-time result.
- Copying tire pressures from another motorcycle: No universal pressure figure is established here. Use current tire-maker and event guidance for the exact slick or rain tire.
- Overlooking the used-bike parts trail: A mechanically sound motorcycle is a poor purchase if essential rims, brake parts or engine components cannot be obtained locally.
Bottom-line buying rule
For a first purchase, select the motorcycle that is legal for the rider’s actual class, fits the rider in full gear, and can be supported at the tracks where it will run. The GP-0 110 Automatic and 110 4S provide the clearest introductory and beginner steps; the GP-0 160 is the 10-inch option tied by Ohvale to the cited 160cc MiniGP pathway; the GP-2 160 and 190 move to an advanced 12-inch format. Bucci’s BR12-GP 3.0 offers a configurable 12-inch package, while Kayo’s MR150 supplies a five-speed, 12-inch alternative with a notably lower listed seat height. None should be chosen without a current local rule check and an itemized landed-cost and support assessment.
