This is the base vehicle price shown by the listing before the local registration-related line and insurance. The estimate is ₹52,000 for Graphene and ₹63,000 for Lithium ion. Confirm that the written quote names the same battery variant; a quote that says only “Racer Neo” is not precise enough for comparison.
RTO plus other charges
The Thodupuzha listing shows ₹2,600 for Graphene and ₹3,150 for Lithium ion. The wording combines registration-related costs with unspecified “other” amounts. Request a line-by-line explanation covering registration, number-plate or handling items and any statutory or dealer charge the seller is applying. Do not assume every rupee is a government fee.
Insurance
The listed insurance amounts are ₹1,482 for Graphene and ₹3,469 for Lithium ion. Insurance pricing can vary with policy type, insurer, dates, add-ons and vehicle details. Ask the dealer for the insurer name, policy duration, own-damage and third-party sections, deductibles and every optional add-on. Check that the policy description matches the exact scooter and owner information before you accept delivery.
Items the estimate does not establish
- Accessories, luggage equipment, chargers beyond the standard supplied unit or cosmetic add-ons.
- Loan processing, interest, hypothecation or other finance costs.
- Dealer handling, logistics, extended warranty or service packages.
- Whether the quoted insurance is the policy you actually want or merely a calculated premium.
Only a written, itemized quotation and the final invoice can settle those points for your transaction.

Odysse’s figures are manufacturer-published expectations and warranty terms, not independent test results. The higher Lithium ion estimate therefore should not be justified by assuming a particular real-world range or exact battery capacity unless the dealer writes it into the quote and sales paperwork.
Racer Neo specifications that matter at purchase
Odysse describes the Racer Neo as an electric scooter with a 250 W motor, 48 V / 60 V voltage options and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. It lists keyless operation and start-stop functionality. The transmission modes are City Drive, Parking and Reverse, which are useful distinctions to verify during a demonstration because the scooter’s controls and behavior should match the mode names in the manual.

How to interpret the claimed range
Odysse lists an expected 90 km range for the Graphene entry. Its Lithium ion entries show expected ranges of 115 km and 70 km alongside 60 V / 45 Ah and 24 Ah capacities, but the page formatting does not make every pairing certain. Treat those numbers as claimed expectations under the manufacturer’s conditions, not a guaranteed distance on one charge.
Actual distance depends on rider and payload, speed, gradients, tyre pressure, stop-and-go traffic, temperature, battery age and how much reserve you keep. If your daily route is close to the claimed figure, plan a charging opportunity rather than assuming the full number is available for routine use.
Warranty coverage to verify in the sales documents
Odysse lists Graphene battery coverage for 18 months or 10,000 km and Lithium ion battery coverage for three years or 20,000 km. For the motor, controller, convertor, charger, meter, throttle, MCB and tyres, it lists one year or 20,000 km. Tyre claims are decided by the tyre company dealer, according to the manufacturer page.

Ask the dealer to show exclusions, required service records, battery degradation rules, charger coverage, transferability and the procedure for a roadside or workshop claim. The warranty printed on your invoice and warranty card should identify the battery type and vehicle details.

- Match the registration location. Confirm that the quote is for the Thodupuzha registration jurisdiction, not another town with a different fee or insurance calculation.
- Check the insurance proposal. Compare the insurer, policy period, coverage and add-ons with the ₹1,482 or ₹3,469 estimate. Ask for the policy wording or proposal schedule before payment.
- Confirm what is supplied. Get written confirmation of the charger, keys, manuals, tools, floor mat or other included items. Anything optional should be priced separately.
- Verify delivery details. Ask for manufacturing or battery dates, vehicle identification number, expected registration timeline and whether the quoted unit is physically available.

Odysse provides an official dealer locator and describes more than 90 touchpoints across India. That headline does not prove that a Thodupuzha outlet exists, serves your registration area or has the quoted Racer Neo variant in stock. Use the locator to find a nearby authorized contact, then call to confirm the address, sales authorization, variant, battery configuration and delivery date.
Ask whether a test ride is available and whether the demonstration scooter is the same battery version you intend to buy. A dealer may be able to quote one configuration while holding another in stock, so match the stock vehicle’s identification and specification sheet to the quotation.

Comparing a base price with an on-road price
₹52,000 and ₹63,000 are the listed ex-showroom amounts, not the amounts associated with registration and insurance. Compare complete itemized totals for the same location and policy assumptions.
Assuming “RTO + others” is fully explained
The label is not a detailed fee schedule. Make the dealer identify each component and state whether it is statutory, insurer-related or dealer-added.

Treating range as a promise
The 90 km, 115 km and 70 km figures are Odysse expectations. They are not independent road-test results and should not be used as a guaranteed daily distance.
Overlooking the battery warranty difference
Graphene and Lithium ion coverage periods differ substantially. Have the exact term, distance limit and exclusions printed in your paperwork instead of relying on a sales conversation.
Paying before checking the invoice
Prices and insurance can change between an online estimate and delivery. Keep the quote, insurance proposal and final invoice together so you can identify a new charge immediately.

Choose the Graphene estimate as the lower initial outlay only if its stated battery configuration, expected range and shorter battery warranty fit your use. Consider the Lithium ion estimate when the specified configuration and longer battery warranty justify the additional ₹13,537 for your route and charging needs. Neither choice should be finalized from the online total alone: the decisive document is a Thodupuzha dealer’s written quotation that names the battery, insurance, registration details and all included equipment.
