The UTV800-11 manual advises using month intervals if the vehicle lacks an odometer or hour meter, and when it has been unused for a long period. It also says to clean the air filter every 20–40 hours and more frequently in wet or dusty conditions. Engine oil for UTV800-11
For UTV800-11 specifically, the manual specifies SAE 10W-40 API SJ engine oil and an oil-change capacity of 1,850 mL with filter. It directs the mechanic to change the oil and filter with a warm engine, then check the dipstick and avoid overfilling. The manual states that 300 mL separates the dipstick’s minimum and maximum marks. These figures are not established for every 800cc variant. Safety: know when to use a dealer
The UTV800-11 manual warns: “Inexperienced mechanics or mechanics without the proper tools and equipment may not be able to properly perform the services described in this manual.” It adds that improper repair can injure the mechanic and make the vehicle unsafe.
