How to choose among the lights
Start with how you carry and power a light, then consider its modes and controls. A high lumen figure alone does not describe beam shape, runtime or how useful a light will be for a particular task; those details are not established in this deal listing.
- For a slim pocket profile: The EDC29 is reported at 0.76 inches thick, while the EDC37 offers a higher listed output and an OLED display. The roundup does not provide comparative runtime or dimensions for both models.
- For flexible battery options: The MT2A Pro is listed as compatible with its rechargeable cell or AA batteries, which may suit someone who wants an alternative to recharging.
- For hands-free or clipped carry: The Oclip Pro’s clip and flood, spot and red modes make it distinct from the flat lights. The roundup reports a weight of 1.87 ounces.
- For a simple compact light: The ProTac 2L-X has a programmable tailcap; the Fenix E06R Pro combines spot and flood with UV and red modules.
- For extra functions: The ArkPro includes UV and green laser modules. Outdoor Life’s favorable test result applied to its predecessor, not necessarily this model, and the roundup notes testers found limited practical use for UV and laser.
Choosing a knife or multitool for everyday carry
Decide whether you want a dedicated folder, a pocketknife with added tools, or pliers-based multitool. Blade length, edge, lock, handle and carry style are more useful comparisons than discount percentage by itself.

For any knife or multitool, check the exact product variant and local rules before carrying it. The deal roundup does not establish legal carry limits for your location.
When the watch or power bank fits an EDC kit
The Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire, 47mm is a multisport watch rather than a standalone pocket flashlight; its built-in LED may make it a useful supplemental light. The Nitecore NB10000 Gen 4 is a power accessory for charging devices such as phones, GPS units and headlamps, not a light or knife. Both expand a kit, but neither substitutes for choosing a primary tool based on its intended use.
