The first NISMO Performance Centre outside Japan opened on October 5, 2026, inside Ferntree Gully Nissan in Victoria, Australia. Nissan says the specialist centre will support advanced restoration, provide access to authentic NISMO performance and heritage parts, and offer expertise from factory-certified NISMO Meisters. It is a centre within a Nissan dealership—not a standalone NISMO-owned shop.
Where is the first NISMO Performance Centre outside Japan?
It is located at Ferntree Gully Nissan in Victoria, Australia. Nissan Motorsports & Customizing Co., Ltd. announced the official opening on October 5, 2026, describing the centre as a way to bring NISMO products, services, technical expertise and customer experiences closer to customers. Nissan’s opening announcement quotes global NISMO head Yutaka Sanada: “The opening of the first NISMO Performance Centre outside Japan is an important milestone in our global expansion.”
What does the Melbourne centre offer?
Nissan identifies advanced vehicle restoration support, access to authentic NISMO performance and heritage parts, and factory-certified NISMO Meisters backed by NISMO expertise as key elements. The wider Performance Centre concept also includes merchandise and customer experiences. Nissan has not published a full local service menu, parts inventory, merchandise catalogue or prices, so prospective customers should confirm availability and suitability for a particular vehicle or job directly with Ferntree Gully Nissan.
Which Skyline GT-Rs are in focus?
Nissan’s May 22, 2026 announcement named the Skyline GT-R R32, R33 and R34 as the initial focus of its broader restoration, restomod and parts businesses. That describes the wider NISMO strategy, not a confirmed list of vehicles currently accepted by the Melbourne centre. The opening announcement does not specify model years, individual jobs or a model-by-model booking list. Nissan Global Newsroom’s expansion announcement also said additional vehicles and regional programs would follow.

How does the Australian rollout continue?
Nissan says additional Australian Performance Centres are planned from 2027. The October opening announcement does not identify their locations or dates, so the Melbourne site is the only Australian centre confirmed in that announcement.

NISMO’s Omori Factory in Japan offers work including vehicle refreshes, NISMO performance-part installation, tuning and restoration. Its overseas-customer page says international owners should arrange an appointment and consult the specialist before sending a vehicle to Japan; it also says the store does not deliver products.
