The 2024 Nissan GT-R NISMO leads this sourced ranking at 600 hp. Next are the 2025 Middle East Patrol NISMO at 495 hp, the 2025 US Z NISMO at 420 hp, and the historic R33-based NISMO 400R at 400 PS—about 395 mechanical hp. These are manufacturer-published figures for specific years and markets, not an exhaustive ranking of every NISMO road car.
Which Nissan NISMO model has the most horsepower?
The 2024 US-spec GT-R NISMO has the highest published output among the four notable models listed here: 600 hp. The ranking compares the output Nissan or NISMO publishes for each specific model and market; it is not a comparison of independent dynamometer results.

How to interpret the ranking
The GT-R NISMO sets the top figure
Nissan’s 2024 US brochure rates the GT-R NISMO’s NISMO-tuned 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 at 600 hp. Its stated torque is 481 lb-ft from 3,600 to 5,800 rpm. That makes it the highest-output entry in this selection, but the figure alone does not establish that it is quickest or best in every kind of driving.
The Patrol NISMO is a regional performance SUV
The 495-hp Patrol NISMO is a 2025 Middle East specification, not a global replacement for the GT-R. Nissan’s announcement said availability was planned across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider Middle East beginning in July 2025. Its 700 Nm torque figure is in newton-metres, while Nissan publishes its engine output in hp.

The 2025 US Z NISMO makes 420 hp
Nissan’s 2025 US brochure lists 420 hp at 6,400 rpm and 384 lb-ft between 2,000 and 5,200 rpm for the Z NISMO. Nissan’s press kit associates the higher output with revised cooling, electronic wastegate control, boost and turbine speed, and ignition timing; those are manufacturer-described changes, not independent test findings. The 400R’s rating is 400 PS, not 400 hp
NISMO lists the R33-based 400R at 400 PS at 6,800 rpm. A metric horsepower (PS) is about 0.986 mechanical horsepower, so 400 PS is approximately 395 hp. Keeping the original unit visible matters: calling it a 400-hp car without qualification would overstate the comparable mechanical-horsepower figure.

What horsepower does—and does not—tell you
Horsepower ranks peak engine output, not overall performance. It does not by itself establish acceleration, handling, traction, braking, lap time, reliability, or value. Those comparisons require their own evidence and may depend on vehicle weight, drivetrain, tires, transmission, conditions, and test method. The figures above are manufacturer specifications tied to different years, markets, and units, so they should not be treated as a controlled head-to-head test.
This is a selection of notable sourced NISMO road cars, not a definitive all-time catalog. Discontinued models and regional variants are not comprehensively covered, and each rating should be read with its stated market and unit.
