2003: The Murano debuts

2015: Resonance-inspired design and V6 power
The third-generation Murano drew on Nissan’s Resonance concept. Its defining exterior cues included a V-motion grille, boomerang-shaped lights, and a floating-roof treatment; Nissan also described a more premium interior and technology package. The fourth-generation Murano arrived for model year 2025 with an all-new design and a substantially updated cabin. Nissan lists dual 12.3-inch displays and a nine-speed automatic transmission; Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated and massaging front seats, and additional driver-assistance and camera technology are available features, depending on trim. Nissan said the 2025 body is more than 2.6 inches wider than the previous model. The company’s October 2024 launch announcement said the all-new Murano would be sold exclusively in the U.S. and Canada in early 2025; that was the stated launch plan, not a claim about worldwide availability.
