When did the Nissan GT-R G-SHOCK come out?
The sixth GT-R/G-SHOCK collaboration was reported on October 10, 2024, with a Japan release date of October 17, 2024. The contemporaneous report said it would be sold through Nissan dealerships in Japan, Nissan’s Global Headquarters Gallery, Nissan Crossing’s boutique, and Nissan’s online shop. Online orders shipped only within Japan, according to Gizmochina’s October 10, 2024 report.

What model is the sixth-edition watch?
It is based on the Japan-made Casio DW-5600. Nissan says the model inherits the DNA of the original G-SHOCK and gives it a color scheme inspired by Millennium Jade, the paint color associated with the GT-R. Gizmochina described the watch as predominantly matte black, including its buttons and buckle, with a GT-R logo above the display. It also reported a positive LCD and EL backlight. Its report lists familiar DW-5600-type functions including a stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm and calendar, along with shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance. Those additional details are reported by Gizmochina; Nissan’s product listing confirms the DW-5600 base and selected design details but does not enumerate that full feature set.

How much did it cost, and can you still buy it?
Nissan’s official shop lists the sixth collaboration at ¥19,800 including tax, the same launch price given in the 2024 report. The Nissan listing currently marks it out of stock. That does not establish whether another retailer or a secondhand seller has one available; check the seller’s current stock and condition before buying.

Nissan’s shop also lists a seventh GT-R/G-SHOCK collaboration. It is a separate, later product—not another name for the 2024 DW-5600. Nissan describes the seventh edition as an octagonal digital-analog watch with carbon core guard construction and red GT-R accents. Its listing gives a tax-included price of ¥24,200, an approximate weight of 52 g and 20-bar water resistance, and currently marks it out of stock. These details apply to the seventh edition only.
