These reports describe an anticipated vehicle, not a confirmed launch. The follow-up search for an official Pakistan J5 announcement returned no results; that does not prove a launch has not happened, but it means the reviewed evidence cannot establish its current status. Those numbers are reported reference-model specifications, not verified local figures. The report also lists six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, a 540-degree camera, TPMS, leather seating, electric front seats, a moonroof, a power tailgate, dual-zone climate control and a 13.2-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Pakistan-market fitment has not been confirmed.
What did the reports say about timing?
ProPakistani said the hybrid J5 had not launched internationally when its report was published and referred to global plans for a 2026 rollout in South Africa. Its suggestion that Pakistan might be among the first markets was an expectation, not a confirmed schedule. Neither that reference nor the matching report establishes a Pakistan launch date.

What does Hyundai Nishat’s hybrid history confirm?
Hyundai Nishat’s official May 7, 2025 TUCSON Hybrid announcement confirms that the company launched the TUCSON Hybrid in Pakistan, showed AWD and FWD variants, and had begun nationwide deliveries. That is evidence of a separate confirmed hybrid launch by Hyundai Nishat; it does not verify the JAECOO J5’s launch or specifications.
