The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season is over. The championship race was held at Phoenix Raceway on November 10, 2024, so there is no current 2024 Cup Series race to stream live. If you are revisiting the season, start with NASCAR’s official 2024 schedule and results page to identify the race and its original broadcaster, then check the relevant network’s on-demand catalog and NASCAR’s official replay resources.
The legal viewing options depended mainly on whether a race aired on FOX/FS1 or NBC/USA Network. Some NBC Sports programming, including the 2024 championship race, was also available through Peacock, but no single official source should be assumed to contain every 2024 Cup race today.

Where the 2024 Cup Series aired
The 2024 national broadcast schedule was divided between FOX Sports and NBC Sports. The network listed on NASCAR’s official schedule is the best way to confirm where a particular historical race originally aired.

The season began with the Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on FOX. Early-season coverage included the Daytona 500 on FOX and additional races on FS1. NBC Sports’ portion began with the Iowa Speedway race on June 16, 2024, on USA Network. Later races included events at New Hampshire, Pocono, Richmond, Michigan, Atlanta, Watkins Glen, and Bristol.

NBC carried selected regular-season races and the final six playoff races. The championship race at Phoenix Raceway on November 10 was listed on NBC and Peacock. NBC Sports described its 2024 NASCAR presentation as 39 combined Cup and Xfinity races across NBC, USA Network, and Peacock, including 20 Cup Series races, 10 of them on the NBC broadcast network.
How to look up a specific 2024 race
- Open NASCAR’s official 2024 Cup Series schedule and results page. Use the historical-season navigation to find the race. The page is the most useful starting point because it combines the event date, start time, network assignment, and result.
- Note the original network. A FOX race is a different search from an FS1, USA Network, or NBC race. The original broadcaster determines which archive or authenticated application is most likely to have the event.
- Check the broadcaster’s current on-demand catalog. Availability changes over time and can vary by subscription, location, and event. A race that aired on a network is not automatically guaranteed to remain available as a full replay.
- Check NASCAR’s official replay hub. NASCAR maintains an official YouTube replay page, but its prominent full-length Cup Series listings have included older races, particularly from 2018 and 2019. It is worth checking for a specific 2024 upload, but it should not be described as a complete 2024 Cup Series archive.
The safest expectation is therefore race-by-race availability. NASCAR’s schedule can confirm what was broadcast; it cannot by itself confirm that a complete replay is still accessible today.
Legal streaming options for the 2024 season
FOX and FS1 races
For races originally shown on FOX or FS1, viewers generally needed a pay-TV package or a live-TV streaming service that carried the applicable channel. FOX Sports’ NASCAR viewing guidance has identified services such as YouTube TV, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, and fuboTV as examples of live-TV services that may carry FOX.

That does not mean every service carried every channel in every location, or that its 2024 lineup is still the same. Channel availability, pricing, local affiliates, sports rights, and authentication rules change. If you are trying to find a replay rather than watch a current race, verify that the service has the relevant network’s on-demand content instead of assuming that live-channel access includes an archived event.
NBC, USA Network, and Peacock
Races shown on NBC or USA Network generally required access through a participating cable, satellite, or live-TV provider. Authenticated viewing through NBC Sports apps or NBC.com typically requires credentials from that provider. A subscription to an unrelated streaming service does not necessarily unlock NBC Sports content.
Peacock was a legitimate direct subscription route for at least some NBC Sports NASCAR programming. NBC’s announcement for the 2024 championship specifically confirmed that the Phoenix finale was available on NBC and Peacock. Do not assume, however, that Peacock contains every 2024 Cup Series race or every race that appeared on NBC Sports. Confirm the individual event in Peacock’s current listing before subscribing for a particular replay.

What about a free NASCAR stream?
Be cautious with search results promising a “free live NASCAR stream,” especially for a season that ended in 2024. Unofficial stream-index pages, embedded broadcasts, restreams, and links designed to bypass network authentication are not legitimate substitutes for the original broadcaster. They can also expose viewers to aggressive advertising, deceptive download buttons, malware, poor-quality video, and streams that disappear during the race.
The official sources establish who carried the races and which authenticated products were used; they do not establish a free, comprehensive official archive of every 2024 Cup event. If a page claims to offer every race free without identifying an authorized broadcaster, treat that as a warning sign.
Can an antenna receive NASCAR?
Possibly. An over-the-air antenna can receive a local FOX or NBC affiliate without a cable subscription when that station’s signal reaches your location. This is most useful for races shown on the broadcast networks, such as the 2024 Daytona 500 on FOX and the NBC-broadcast playoff races. It does not provide FS1 or USA Network, and it does not unlock a streaming archive.

An indoor HDTV antenna may be a practical option for viewers who live close enough to the relevant local station and have a suitable window or exterior-facing placement. Reception depends on your address, station coverage, terrain, building materials, antenna orientation, and whether the affiliate broadcasts on VHF or UHF. Check local reception maps before buying, and rescan the television’s channels after installation.
An antenna is not guaranteed to work at every address. A strong result in one neighborhood does not prove that the same model will work across town, particularly in areas with hills, tall buildings, or weak station coverage.
Using a streaming device
A streaming player can make authenticated network and live-TV applications easier to use on a compatible television, but the hardware does not include NASCAR rights. A Roku Streaming Stick Plus or comparable streaming player can provide access to supported apps, including network or live-TV services, when those apps are available for the device.
You may still need an active subscription and a participating television-provider login. Roku’s own documentation notes that some content requires a paid subscription and that network applications may require provider authentication. A Roku device cannot turn an antenna-only broadcast into FS1 access, provide USA Network without a qualifying service, or guarantee that an old 2024 race remains in an app’s catalog.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What changed after 2024?
Do not use the 2024 FOX/FS1-to-USA/NBC structure as a current NASCAR rights guide. Later NASCAR rights announcements described a seven-year agreement beginning in 2025 involving FOX Sports, NBC Sports, Amazon’s Prime Video, and TNT Sports. For current races, always use the current season’s official NASCAR schedule and broadcaster announcements rather than relying on this historical lineup.

A practical setup checklist
- Identify the exact race on NASCAR’s official 2024 schedule and results page.
- Confirm the original network: FOX, FS1, USA Network, or NBC.
- Search that network’s official app or on-demand catalog for the race date and event name.
- For NBC programming, check Peacock’s individual event listing rather than assuming season-wide coverage.
- Check NASCAR’s official replay hub, while remembering that it is not confirmed as a complete 2024 archive.
- If using an antenna, verify local FOX or NBC reception for your address and rescan channels.
- If using a streaming player, install the supported network or live-TV app and prepare the required provider credentials.
- Avoid unofficial restreams and any site asking you to bypass authentication or download an unfamiliar player.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series still live?
No. The 2024 season ended with the championship race at Phoenix Raceway on November 10, 2024. You can look for historical broadcasts and replays instead.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Can I watch every 2024 Cup Series race on Peacock?
Do not assume so. Peacock carried at least some NBC Sports NASCAR programming, including the 2024 championship race, but availability should be checked for each individual event.
Did every 2024 NASCAR race air on FOX?
No. Early-season races were split between FOX and FS1, while later regular-season and playoff coverage moved to USA Network and NBC, with the finale also on Peacock.
Will an antenna receive NASCAR without cable?
An antenna may receive local FOX or NBC affiliates where signal coverage permits. It will not provide FS1 or USA Network, and it does not guarantee access to archived races.
Is NASCAR’s official YouTube channel a complete 2024 replay archive?
No such complete archive should be assumed. NASCAR’s official replay hub is worth checking, but the replay page has prominently featured older full-length races and does not establish that every 2024 Cup race is available.

For the finished 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, use NASCAR’s official schedule and results page to identify the original broadcaster, then check that broadcaster’s legitimate archive and NASCAR’s official replay resources. FOX and FS1 handled much of the early season; USA Network and NBC handled later coverage; and the Phoenix championship was available on NBC and Peacock. An antenna or streaming player can improve access to authorized broadcasts, but neither replaces the required network rights or subscription.
