MOZA says its effects include ABS, traction control and engine vibration, but its published materials do not establish a measured improvement in realism or a quantified reduction in the gap between simulation and real driving. The specifications and features below are manufacturer claims, not independent test results.
What the MOZA mBooster Active Pedal does
Unlike a conventional pedal that relies on a fixed mechanical spring or elastomer for resistance, the mBooster is an active-force-feedback device. MOZA’s Pit House software lets users assign it as a throttle, brake or clutch and adjust its response. The company promotes simulated effects such as ABS, traction control, engine vibration and G-force feedback; how these feel depends on configuration and supported game telemetry.
MOZA’s product page describes the pedal as offering “realistic dynamic force feedback and precision control.” That is the manufacturer’s characterization, not a result established by a published independent comparison with a real car.
MOZA’s published specifications
MOZA lists the following figures for the mBooster. They are product specifications, not independently verified measurements.

| Specification | MOZA’s stated figure |
|---|---|
| Load cells | Dual 200 kg load-cell sensors |
| Angle sensor | 15-bit resolution (32,768 PPR) |
| Magnetic encoder | 21-bit, mentioned separately in MOZA’s product-page description |
| Peak power | 270 W |
| Power input | 110–220 V AC to 48 V DC |
| Pedal travel adjustment | 0–25° |
| Angle adjustment | 0–15° |
The 15-bit angle sensor and the separately described 21-bit magnetic encoder are distinct specifications in MOZA’s materials; they should not be treated as interchangeable resolutions. See MOZA’s mBooster product page for its listed specifications.
Travel, feel and software adjustment
MOZA Support lists 59.5 mm of total travel and up to 39.5 mm of adjustable travel. Its software-adjustable travel ranges vary by assigned role:

- MOZA CRP2 LOAD CELL PEDALS
| Pedal role | Software-adjustable travel range |
|---|---|
| Throttle | 3.8–49.7 mm |
| Brake | 17.6–49.7 mm |
| Clutch | 3.8–49.7 mm |
MOZA says Pit House can adjust rebound, stroke, damping and friction, as well as the force-feedback curve. Its support documentation describes starting-force and ending-force controls for changing perceived stiffness. The available adjustments make setup flexible, but they do not by themselves establish that one setting reproduces a particular car’s pedal feel.
Some effects depend on telemetry, not just the pedal. MOZA says they must be configured in Pit House and lists support for titles including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, F1, iRacing and rFactor 2, among others with compatible MOZA Pit House telemetry. Check the current support information for the game and effect you intend to use: MOZA mBooster support documentation.

Power and wheelbase connection
The mBooster requires external power. Its connection to the sim-racing setup depends on the wheelbase:
- Compatible MOZA base: MOZA says to connect the pedal to a base with an RJ45 pedal port.
- Third-party base: MOZA’s documented method is to connect the pedal to the PC by USB.
Confirm the ports on your actual base and the intended PC connection before buying. A wheelbase connection is not a substitute for the pedal’s required external power.

Mounting and pedal arrangements
Mounting fit depends on which plate you have and how many active or mechanical pedals you want to combine. MOZA documents these arrangements:
- The mBooster Base Plate can mount up to three mBooster pedals; MOZA excludes CRP2 from this plate’s compatibility.
- The CRP2 Base Plate supports up to two mBoosters plus one optional CRP2 mechanical pedal.
- For users mounting an mBooster on a CRP2 plate, MOZA recommends the mBooster Base Extension Plate because the mBooster is longer than the existing CRP2 plate’s mounting-hole reach.
- MOZA Support also documents connecting up to three mBooster pedals through RJ11 cables.
The plate layout and the pedal’s electrical connection are separate considerations. Check the mounting-hole arrangement as well as the connection and power requirements for your intended setup. Related parts such as the extension plate or CRP2 pedals are potential add-ons, not universally required accessories.

Price and availability
On October 8, 2026, MOZA’s US product listing displayed the standalone mBooster at $759 USD on sale, against a listed regular price of $799 USD, and showed “In stock! Dispatched within 2 business days.” Those are time- and region-specific listing details, not a guarantee of today’s price or delivery. MOZA says shipping and taxes are calculated separately at checkout, and timing may vary. Check the official US listing before ordering.
MOZA’s March 2025 launch announcement gave historical launch prices of $799 USD, €899 EUR, £799 GBP, AUD $1,499 and JPY ¥129,900. Those launch figures are not current price guarantees for each market; local availability, taxes, shipping and checkout totals may differ.
What to check before choosing it
The official US listing has offered the standalone mBooster and a set with a CRP2 throttle. MOZA also lists related CRP2 pedal components and mounting plates. Choose based on your setup rather than assuming every listed accessory is necessary:
- Decide whether you want one active pedal or multiple, and which roles need active feedback.
- Check whether your current plate fits the intended arrangement, particularly if it is a CRP2 plate.
- Verify that you have an appropriate external power connection and a supported path to your MOZA base or PC.
- Confirm that Pit House supports telemetry for the games and effects you care about.
- Compare the full local checkout cost of the standalone pedal or set, including any plate or pedal components your setup actually needs.
MOZA’s published material provides specifications and setup guidance, but does not establish an independent performance ranking or a measured comparison of sim-pedal feel against real-car feel. Treat claims about realism as product positioning, and make the buying decision around fit, configuration and compatibility.
