CampingcarFan’s November 7, 2022 video description presents the E:Pop as a camper based on the third-generation Outlander PHEV. It identifies two camper-specific features: a pop-up roof and an optional bed kit for the rear that creates a flat sleeping surface.
The description reports five seats and four sleeping places. Those figures apply to the E:Pop configuration as described in 2022; they should not be treated as specifications for every Outlander PHEV or as confirmation that the same conversion can be obtained now.

The E:Pop description concerns a third-generation vehicle. Current Outlander PHEV specifications are market- and grade-specific, so Japan-market and North American figures should be read separately rather than combined into one spec sheet.

The range figures are not directly comparable test results: Japan’s distances use WLTC, the European announcement specifies WLTP, and North America reports miles in its 2026 model-year specification context. For the same North American context, Mitsubishi lists a 22.7 kWh lithium-ion drive battery and 297 combined horsepower.

What the PHEV power features mean for camping
External power is a documented feature of current vehicles, but the details vary by market and trim. Mitsubishi Japan describes output up to 1,500 W. Mitsubishi Motors North America lists 1,500 W AC outlets on the top trim. These specifications do not establish which outlets, adapters, or camper accessories were fitted to the 2022 E:Pop.

No. The E:Pop description supports calling it an SUV-based camper intended to travel on the road and trail, but it does not provide an independent trail test or E:Pop-specific evidence of off-road performance. The cited Mitsubishi product pages establish market specifications, not how a converted vehicle performs on a particular route. Treat trail suitability as a separate question requiring details about the specific vehicle, conversion, tires, ground clearance, and route.
