For the 2026 U.S. model year, Mercedes-Maybach prices in the official lineup range from $180,000 for the GLS 600 to $244,400 for the S 680; the SL 680 Monogram Series is $224,900. Those are manufacturer suggested retail prices, not out-the-door totals. The model you choose determines whether the money goes toward an SUV’s rear-seat flexibility, a luxury sedan’s comfort, or a two-seat roadster’s open-air character—and paint, wheels, and packages can add substantially to a build.

How much does a Mercedes-Maybach cost?

Mercedes-Benz’s 2026 model-year U.S. pricing overview lists these starting MSRPs:

2026 model Body style Starting MSRP
Maybach GLS 600 SUV $180,000
Maybach S 580 Sedan $207,150
Maybach S 680 Sedan $244,400
Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series Roadster $224,900

These are manufacturer-listed 2026 MSRPs, not guaranteed dealer transaction prices. The GLS 600 model page specifies that its $180,000 base price excludes destination and delivery charges, government-mandated fees, taxes, title, registration, and insurance; actual price and availability may vary by dealer. Use the official 2026 Maybach pricing overview to compare listed starting prices, then confirm the total for a specific build and location with Mercedes-Benz or a dealer.

What do you get for the money?

The models serve different needs rather than forming a simple ladder where the most expensive is automatically the best value. The GLS 600 is the SUV choice, the S-Class models are sedans, and the SL 680 Monogram Series is a roadster. The available official pricing information supports a more detailed equipment and performance comparison for the GLS 600 than for every model in the lineup.

S-Class: two sedan price points

The 2026 Maybach S 580 starts at $207,150, while the S 680 starts at $244,400. The official 2026 pricing overview provides those MSRPs; the feature details cited here do not establish a like-for-like equipment breakdown between the two. Buyers comparing them should check the current model specifications and build equipment rather than infer that the price difference alone identifies the better fit.

SL 680 Monogram Series: roadster format

The 2026 SL 680 Monogram Series is listed at $224,900. Its roadster body style distinguishes it from the GLS SUV and S-Class sedans, but the listed pricing source does not provide a comparable equipment or performance breakdown for this model. Evaluate it as a different type of vehicle, not as an alternative defined only by its position in the price table.

How much can Maybach options add?

Personalization can move a GLS 600 build well beyond its base MSRP. In one official 2026 configurator example, two-tone paint was displayed at $18,500 and a selected 23-inch Maybach forged-wheel option at $6,000; the build summary also showed a $1,350 destination charge. These are displayed amounts from that build example, not universal quotes. The 2026 GLS configurator is the place to check options and availability for a specific configuration.

The GLS model page also lists a Maybach Night Series Design Package at $25,000 and describes its exterior and interior appointments. Because that is a package-specific listed price, confirm it is available on the chosen build before treating it as a current quote. Paint, wheels, seating layout, trim, and packages are the main configuration choices to compare; price the same selections and destination assumptions when comparing builds.

What changes for the 2027 model year?

Keep model years separate when comparing prices. Mercedes-Benz’s quick reference, dated July 7, 2026, lists the 2027 Maybach S 580 at $210,200 and S 680 at $247,450. It highlights AIRMATIC air suspension and heated, ventilated front and rear power seats with massage, lumbar support, and memory. These are 2027 prices and should not be substituted for the 2026 figures above. Details are in the 2027 S-Class quick reference.

Mercedes-Benz announced on July 21, 2026 that the 2027 Maybach GLS 680 was expected at U.S. dealerships later that year. The announcement describes design, interior, powertrain, and digital updates but does not state a U.S. MSRP. Its price therefore cannot be established from that announcement; do not estimate it from the GLS 600. See the 2027 GLS 680 announcement.

How to compare two Maybach builds fairly

  1. Choose the model and year. Compare SUV with SUV, sedan with sedan, or roadster with roadster, and keep 2026 pricing separate from 2027 pricing.
  2. Set the cabin priorities. For the GLS 600, decide whether the standard five-seat arrangement or optional four-seat configuration better suits the intended use.
  3. Configure the same choices. Compare paint, wheels, seating layout, trim, and packages on each build rather than comparing one base vehicle with another heavily optioned vehicle.
  4. Use the same fee assumptions. Include destination and delivery and account separately for taxes, title, registration, insurance, and other applicable charges; the displayed MSRP is not an out-the-door total.
  5. Confirm the live quote. Option availability and dealer pricing can vary, so verify the selected build and local availability with the configurator or dealer.
