The scooter behind the “more aero than a Panigale” headline is the Italjet Dragster 300 Gresini MotoGP Edition. Its prominent side and tail wings echo the look of Gresini Racing’s Ducati Desmosedici MotoGP racer, but the comparison is visual: no measured evidence shows the scooter makes more downforce or has less drag than a Panigale.
What is the Dragster 300 Gresini MotoGP Edition?
Italjet’s special-edition Dragster 300 celebrates the company’s relationship with Gresini Racing. TopSpeed’s June 17, 2024 report describes its livery and wing-like bodywork as drawing inspiration from the team’s Ducati Desmosedici MotoGP machine. That makes it Ducati-inspired in styling, not a scooter based on a Ducati motorcycle.
Do its wings work like race-bike aerodynamics?
The wings make the scooter’s appearance unusually dramatic, but visible aero parts do not establish aerodynamic performance. TopSpeed characterized them as unlikely to make a major difference to riding dynamics and reported no drag, downforce, wind-tunnel, or controlled comparison measurements. There is therefore no basis in the available reporting to claim the Dragster produces more downforce, less drag, or superior aerodynamics to a Panigale.
What equipment and engine did the report describe?
TopSpeed reported Öhlins suspension at both ends and a titanium Akrapovič exhaust for the Gresini edition. It described the Dragster 300’s standard engine as a 278cc single-cylinder unit, with standard-trim output listed as 24 horsepower and 19 lb-ft of torque. Those are reported specifications, not independently verified or measured performance figures.

What did it cost, and how many were planned?
TopSpeed’s June 2024 report said Italjet planned a 75-unit run and gave an approximate price of $10,172 converted from euros. These are dated reported figures: they do not establish how many scooters were ultimately built, whether any are currently available, or what one costs now.
What is—and is not—confirmed
The available account is secondary reporting that attributes the styling, equipment, production plan, and approximate price to Italjet. It does not establish current availability, final production numbers, present pricing, independent specifications, or aerodynamic performance.
