How long is a Maserati factory warranty?
Maserati defines its factory warranty as the manufacturer’s commitment to pay for repairing a malfunction or fault during a stated period, subject to conditions such as the vehicle’s age, use and scheduled maintenance. The published North American baseline is four years or 50,000 miles (80,000 km) for new vehicles in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

That figure is not a worldwide Maserati rule. Maserati explicitly says warranty application can vary from country to country because of local commercial choices and legal requirements. A Maserati bought in another market, imported privately, or operated outside the market in which it was sold may therefore have different limits, exclusions or repair procedures.
Use the vehicle’s original in-service date and odometer reading when checking remaining coverage. The purchase date, registration date or date you personally acquired a used car may not tell you how much of the original term remains. The supplied Warranty and Maintenance booklet is the controlling contract, so it takes priority over a general web description.

What the factory warranty normally addresses
- Repair of a covered malfunction or manufacturing fault during the applicable time and mileage period.
- Work performed under the conditions, maintenance requirements and exclusions stated in the vehicle’s warranty documentation.
- Eligibility determined by the vehicle’s market, age, mileage, maintenance history and the particular warranty terms.
A roadside dispatch does not automatically prove that a failure is a warranty repair. When you call, ask the assistance center whether the incident is being handled as a covered warranty breakdown and what documentation the dealer will need.
How long is Maserati roadside assistance included?
Maserati describes its assistance program as a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week service with free benefits for 12, 24 or 36 months, depending on the country and the warranty terms that apply to the vehicle. The duration is therefore not necessarily identical to the factory-warranty duration.
The global Maserati roadside description uses the same broad categories of help but directs owners to the roadside-assistance booklet for their country. That local booklet determines the phone number, eligibility rules, limits and whether a particular mobility benefit is available in your situation.

Services Maserati commonly lists
- On-site repair for a punctured tire or a flat battery.
- Towing to the nearest Maserati dealer.
- A replacement vehicle, where the local program provides one for the incident.
- Collection of the repaired vehicle.
- Homeward travel for passengers or onward travel to the intended destination.
These categories describe the program, not a promise that every market supplies every benefit in the same way. For example, a replacement car may have a local time limit, vehicle-class restriction or availability condition that is stated only in the applicable booklet.
What North American emergency roadside assistance covers
Maserati’s North American emergency rules describe help when a Maserati is disabled or unsafe to drive because of a mechanical problem. The listed emergency services are more specific than the general global summary.

The details above are specifically the North American emergency rules. They should not be treated as a worldwide promise, and the two-gallon, 20-foot and spare-tire limits belong to that described North American service.
Where will Maserati tow a disabled car?
For a warranty-disabled vehicle in North America, Maserati says the car will be transported to the nearest authorized Maserati dealer. You may request another authorized Maserati dealer only when that dealer is no more than 50 miles farther than the nearest one.
This rule matters if you have a preferred dealer in another city. Tell the assistance center your preferred destination before the truck is dispatched and ask it to confirm that the requested dealer falls within the 50-mile additional-distance limit. A dealer farther away may not be approved under the described benefit.
Outside North America, the destination can follow a different local rule. Some market descriptions refer to the nearest Maserati dealer without using the same 50-mile option, which is why the local roadside booklet should be kept in the car or stored with your ownership records.
Do you get a replacement car or travel home?
Maserati’s general roadside descriptions include a replacement vehicle, collection of the repaired vehicle, and homeward or onward travel for passengers. Availability depends on the country, the applicable assistance term and the circumstances of the breakdown.

When arranging a tow, ask the assistance center four separate questions rather than assuming that one benefit includes the others:

- Who collects the repaired vehicle, and is collection limited to a stated distance?
- Does the local program require authorization before you rent a vehicle or book travel yourself?
Keep the call reference, dispatch details and any authorization number. If the booklet requires prior approval, arranging an alternative independently can affect reimbursement eligibility.
Maserati Approved certified-pre-owned coverage
A Maserati Approved certified-pre-owned vehicle has a different package from an ordinary used Maserati. The Maserati Approved program describes a two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty with full coverage of warranty repairs during that period. The warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner while the two-year term is running.
The accompanying roadside package lasts two years and provides 24/7 support, 365 days a year. Its listed benefits are:
- Towing.
- Battery jump-start.
- Flat-tire change when an equipped spare is present.
- Fuel delivery.
- Lock-out service.
- A rental-car allowance.
Unlimited mileage applies to the described Approved warranty; it does not turn every used Maserati into an Approved vehicle. Confirm that the car was sold through the Maserati Approved program and obtain the certificate or contract showing the coverage start and end dates. A privately purchased used Maserati may have none of these benefits unless its paperwork identifies the Approved program.

Can you extend a Maserati warranty?
Yes, but the available route depends on the market, model, age, prior coverage and inspection requirements.
U.S. extended warranty
Maserati’s U.S. service information describes an Extended Warranty that can extend vehicle warranty coverage through the sixth year. The exact eligible models, purchase window, covered components, deductible and transfer rules must be confirmed with an authorized dealer before the original coverage expires.
Regional Extra10-style programs
Regional program documentation describes an Extra10 structure that covers specified drivetrain components through the tenth year. That program includes roadside assistance, provides unlimited mileage after activation, and can be portable for eligible vehicles. It is not a universal Maserati product: eligibility can depend on the model, previous warranty coverage, an inspection and the market where the car is registered.
Ask the dealer to identify the exact program name and provide its written terms. “Up to year six” and “through year ten” describe different offerings; neither should be assumed to apply merely because the car is a Maserati or because it has low mileage.

“Not universal” is the key qualification: Maserati does not publish one global mileage cap, roadside duration, rental allowance, fuel limit or towing destination for every vehicle.

How to verify your exact benefits before a breakdown
- Record the vehicle identity. Write down the VIN, odometer reading, model, model year and the original in-service date.
- Identify the relevant market. Note the country where the vehicle was sold and the country where it is being operated. Imported cars can be governed by different documentation.
- Retrieve both booklets. Keep the Warranty and Maintenance booklet and the roadside-assistance booklet. Maserati’s owner-documentation portal asks for model year, model, version, country, document type and language before showing the applicable documents.
- Classify the coverage. Determine whether the car is still under its new-car warranty, an extended warranty, Maserati Approved coverage or no active contract.
- Check the remaining term. Compare the original in-service date and odometer with the duration and mileage limits in the contract. For Approved coverage, verify the two-year period and unlimited-mileage wording.
- Save the assistance contact method. Store the local 24/7 number and your contract or certificate details in your phone and in the vehicle.
- Ask precise questions during a call. Confirm whether the failure is being treated as a warranty breakdown, which dealer destination applies, and whether a replacement vehicle, rental allowance or onward travel is authorized.
What to do in common roadside situations
Flat battery
Call the assistance center and describe the warning lights, whether the engine cranks and where the car is parked. The published programs list on-site battery assistance or a jump-start. A portable 12-volt jump starter can be useful backup equipment, but carrying one is not itself a Maserati warranty benefit and using it does not change the contract’s coverage.
Flat tire or puncture
Tell the dispatcher whether the car has an inflated spare. The North American rules and Maserati Approved description specify tire changes when a spare is present; they do not promise that a vehicle without a spare can be repaired on the roadside. Ask whether a tow or another local solution will be sent if no usable spare is available.
Running out of fuel
North American emergency assistance lists delivery of up to two gallons of fuel. State the fuel type and your exact location, and do not assume that the same quantity or service exists in another country. Refueling the vehicle after delivery is your responsibility.
Locked keys
Lock-out service is listed in the North American emergency rules and the Maserati Approved roadside package. Have identification and the vehicle information available; the provider may require verification before opening the car.
Serious mechanical failure
Move occupants to a safe location when possible, tell the assistance center whether the car is blocking traffic, and request the authorized dealer destination before dispatch. For a North American warranty breakdown, the default is the nearest authorized Maserati dealer, with the limited option to request another dealer no more than 50 miles farther away.
