The terms reviewed for online bookings do not establish a universal public tracker with model-specific dates. They also do not establish one statutory compensation period or remedy that automatically applies when an individual booking is late. How to check the waiting period for your Maruti Suzuki car
1. Identify the channel and the dealer responsible

5. Confirm before making irreversible plans
Before arranging a loan disbursement, selling your existing vehicle, booking insurance or planning a long trip to collect the car, obtain the latest written delivery estimate. A dealer’s earlier month or week estimate may no longer be current after an allocation change.

The practical question is not which channel has a shorter nationwide queue; the official terms do not provide a single national figure. The difference is which authorized network communicates your estimate and where you start an online cancellation request.

An offline booking may have a different cancellation workflow from an online booking. Ask the dealer to identify the terms attached to your transaction instead of assuming that the online process applies.
Why a delivery date can move
Maruti Suzuki reported about 190,000 pending customer orders at the end of FY2025–26 and said sales were restricted by production-capacity limitations. This is a company-wide figure reported by Maruti Suzuki India Limited in 2026. It is useful context for constrained supply, but it is not a model-level queue, a dealer-level estimate or a forecast for your booking.

Ask the booking dealer to state the reason for the delay, whether the reason is expected to continue, and the next realistic delivery date or range. Ask whether the revised date is based on an allocation or only on a general production expectation. Keep the response with your payment records.
Step 3: Check the transaction terms
Read the booking confirmation and the terms that applied when you paid. Look for provisions about estimated dates, late delivery, cancellation, refund method and any amount that may be deducted. Step 4: Set a decision deadline
