The Arena range page displayed starting prices from ₹3,49,900 for S-Presso to ₹10,49,900 for Victoris when retrieved on 13 October 2026. Those are advertised entry prices, not guaranteed on-road totals: the final amount depends on the exact variant, city, registration, insurance, accessories, dealer terms and the price or scheme applicable on the invoice date.
NEXA currently lists e VITARA, Baleno, Grand Vitara, Fronx, Jimny, XL6 and Invicto. There is no single brand-wide trim ladder or a complete, permanent price list that can be safely applied to every model. Use the official model selector, comparison tool and current brochure for the vehicle and variant you are considering, then ask a dealer for a dated, itemised quote.

Maruti Suzuki prices: what the official starting figures mean
Maruti Suzuki publishes prices in more than one page context. The Arena range page and the Arena comparison page showed different entry figures for several cars. That does not mean one page is universally right and the other wrong; it indicates that prices can reflect different snapshots, updates or selection contexts.
The company also states that the prices and schemes prevailing on the invoice or bill date apply. A displayed starting price should therefore be used to identify the approximate entry point for a model, not as a promise of what you will pay. It should not be called an on-road price unless registration, insurance and other city-specific costs have been itemised for your location.

Arena advertised starting-price snapshot
| Model | Displayed starting price |
|---|---|
| S-Presso | ₹3,49,900 |
| Alto K10 | ₹3,69,900 |
| Celerio | ₹4,69,900 |
| WagonR | ₹4,98,900 |
| Eeco | ₹5,28,400 |
| Swift | ₹5,83,900 |
| Dzire | ₹6,30,600 |
| Brezza | ₹7,49,900 |
| Ertiga | ₹8,90,000 |
| Victoris | ₹10,49,900 |
These figures are the Arena range page’s displayed starting prices as retrieved on 13 October 2026. They are not full variant ranges and do not establish an on-road price. The separate Arena comparison page displayed, among other figures, S-Presso at ₹3,82,400+, Alto K10 at ₹3,99,900+, Eeco at ₹5,61,300+, Dzire at ₹9,41,300+, Victoris at ₹11,54,900+ and Brezza at ₹11,59,900+. Because the two official pages are visibly inconsistent snapshots, do not average them or treat either list as a nationwide final tariff. Select the exact model and variant and request a fresh local quote.
Which Maruti Suzuki models are sold through each channel?
Arena
The Arena range page lists S-Presso, Alto K10, Celerio, WagonR, Eeco, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Ertiga and Victoris. This covers small entry cars, family cars, a compact SUV, a people carrier and a newer SUV nameplate, but the most useful distinction for a buyer is the exact body, seating and powertrain offered on the model page rather than the channel label.
NEXA
| NEXA model | Current price in the supplied official material | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| e VITARA | Not stated | Battery version, charging equipment, warranty terms and current purchase or finance offer |
| Baleno | Not stated | Exact variant, transmission and standard equipment |
| Grand Vitara | Not stated | Powertrain, drivetrain, seating and trim equipment |
| Fronx | Not stated | Engine, transmission and safety or connected features by trim |
| Jimny | Not stated | Variant equipment, transmission and current inventory or scheme |
| XL6 | Not stated | Seating configuration, powertrain and trim-specific features |
| Invicto | Not stated | Exact variant, seating, hybrid system and included equipment |
The corporate model list confirms the NEXA catalogue, but it does not provide a complete current variant-by-variant price table for every NEXA vehicle. Treat any older listing, dealer poster or search snippet as a lead only until the current official model page or dealer invoice confirms it.

How to compare variants without assuming the trim names are universal
Names such as Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Zxi+ are not a guaranteed cross-range hierarchy. A higher-sounding trim on one model may have a different equipment mix, powertrain or transmission from a similarly named trim elsewhere. Compare the actual specification sheet for the vehicle you intend to buy.
- Choose the model and body requirement. Decide how many passengers and how much luggage you regularly carry, whether you need a higher seating position, and whether the car must fit a particular parking space. A lower entry price is irrelevant if the seating or cargo layout does not work for your household.
- Open the exact model in the official comparison tool. The tool provides vehicle and variant selectors and separates Overview, Car Features and Technical Specifications. Start with the variant you can realistically afford, then compare one step above and below it.
- Record the powertrain and transmission. Confirm whether that specific model and trim is petrol, CNG, hybrid or electric, and whether it is offered with a manual or automatic transmission. Arena pages surface petrol/CNG and transmission categories for models such as Brezza and Ertiga, but those details must not be generalised to the rest of the range.
- Check safety equipment as standard. List airbags, electronic stability or braking aids, cameras, sensors and driver-assistance functions that are standard on the exact trim. If you use a crash-test result, match the tested model, variant and safety standard; do not transfer a result from one vehicle to another.
- Separate useful equipment from visual upgrades. Compare the infotainment system, speakers, lighting, wheel and tyre package, upholstery, climate controls, keyless functions and connected services. Decide which items affect daily use and which are mainly cosmetic.
- Read the brochure footnotes. Notes can identify optional equipment, market or production changes, accessory packages and images that show a higher variant. The corporate site cautions that pictures may depict top variants and that accessories or pictured features may not be standard.
- Price the complete purchase. Ask for ex-showroom price, registration, insurance, taxes or statutory charges, accessories, extended warranty, finance costs and every discount or scheme on one dated sheet. Compare the same inclusions between dealers.
Victoris shows why a model-specific matrix matters
The Victoris brochure excerpt groups variants under Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Zxi+ headings, with Zxi (O) and Zxi+ (O) variants also shown. Its matrix assigns different equipment across those groups, including infotainment screen and audio hardware, lighting, wheels, upholstery and connected features. The lesson is methodological: do not infer that every Lxi, Vxi or Zxi car in the Maruti Suzuki catalogue carries the same equipment.
When a dealer quotes a Victoris, ask the salesperson to mark the exact column in the current brochure and identify every “O” or optional designation. Confirm whether a feature is factory-fitted, available only in a package or supplied as an accessory. If the quote uses a website image as proof, request the written feature list for the quoted variant instead, because promotional images can show a top trim.

City commuting and a tight budget
Start with the smallest model that meets your passenger, boot and safety requirements. Compare the real monthly cost of fuel, insurance and financing with the price step to a larger car. If you are considering CNG, check whether the exact variant offers it, how the fuel system affects usable luggage space and where you can refuel along your normal routes.

Family travel and flexible seating
For a larger household, verify the stated seating configuration, access to every row, child-seat fitment and luggage space with all seats occupied. A model’s advertised starting price may refer to a lower trim that lacks the automatic transmission, safety equipment or comfort features you need, so compare the equipped variant rather than the headline figure.
SUV-style driving position
Compare visibility, turning circle, ground clearance, tyre replacement cost and the actual driver-assistance or parking equipment on the chosen trim. Do not pay for a higher body style solely for appearance if your priority is low running cost or easy urban manoeuvring.

Automatic transmission
Identify the transmission type by name in the technical specifications and test it in stop-start traffic and on an incline. “Automatic” is not a single driving experience, and availability can change by model and variant. Include any difference in service requirements and insurance group in your ownership calculation.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.e VITARA: dated electric-car facts and expired launch offers
A Maruti Suzuki India Limited press release dated 17 February 2026 describes e VITARA with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery choices and a manufacturer-stated driving range of up to 543 km. That figure is a company claim, not an independently verified real-world result; range will vary with speed, temperature, load, terrain, tyre pressure and use of heating or air conditioning.
The same release describes Level 2 ADAS functions including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring and Automatic Emergency Braking. It states that seven airbags are standard, and gives a battery warranty of eight years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first. It also describes a three-year standard vehicle warranty with a paid extension option. Confirm the warranty booklet and exclusions for the exact vehicle supplied.

The release introduced a Battery-as-a-Service structure from ₹10.99 lakh plus battery EMI of ₹3.99 per kilometre under stated assumptions and exclusions. Its introductory offer, complimentary charging and related launch benefits were expressly valid only through 31 March 2026. That date has passed, so do not treat those benefits as available in October 2026. Ask for the current purchase structure, charging costs, battery terms and any replacement offer in writing.
In the release, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, said: “The e VITARA offers a commendable driving range of over 543 km, supported by ‘e for me’ charging ecosystem that mirrors the reliability our customers have trusted for decades.” This is a company executive’s promotional statement; the separately stated “up to 543 km” figure remains a manufacturer claim rather than independent testing.
Build an accurate on-road quote before booking
Take the same checklist to at least one authorised dealer and, where practical, a second dealer in the same city. A dealer’s quote is location-specific and should not be presented as a nationwide Maruti Suzuki price.
- Identify the car precisely: model, variant, fuel or battery option, transmission, colour and any factory option.
- Write the quote date and city: prices, registration rules, insurance rates and schemes can change.
- Request the ex-showroom breakup: show the base vehicle price and any mandatory levy separately from optional equipment.
- Request on-road items individually: registration, road or local taxes where applicable, insurance premium, handling or documentation charges and other statutory amounts should not be hidden in one unexplained total.
- List accessories separately: confirm which are genuine accessories, their fitment for the exact model and year, and whether they are optional. An accessory is not included merely because it appears in a vehicle photograph.
- Check finance and protection products: record interest rate, tenure, processing fee, down payment, extended warranty and roadside-assistance cost rather than comparing only the monthly instalment.
- Confirm schemes and delivery: ask whether each discount is manufacturer-funded, dealer-funded, exchange-linked or conditional, when it expires, and whether the quoted stock is already allocated. Get the promised delivery window in writing.
- Match the invoice: before payment, verify that the invoice variant, price, insurance, accessories and scheme match the signed quotation.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Calling an advertised starting price an on-road price.
- Combining figures from different official pages into an invented “average” price.
- Assuming a trim ladder or feature package is identical across Arena and NEXA models.
- Using a top-variant image to prove that a lower variant includes the same equipment.
- Transferring an e VITARA battery warranty, ADAS package or range claim to another Maruti Suzuki vehicle.
- Treating the March 2026 e VITARA introductory BaaS or charging benefits as current.
- Accepting “fully loaded” or “automatic” without the exact variant code and technical specification.
- Adding accessories to the vehicle price without checking fitment, warranty implications and whether they are genuinely needed.
A practical buying decision
Shortlist two or three models that meet your seating and use requirements, then compare the exact variants on four lines: dated local on-road cost, powertrain and transmission, standard safety equipment, and the comfort or connected functions you will use every day. Eliminate any car whose required feature is optional or unavailable on the affordable trim. Finally, test-drive the precise variant—or a demonstrator with the same powertrain and transmission—and make the booking only after the written quote, delivery timing and warranty terms agree with the official specifications.
