The report says the blows left visible dents or divots, but the clip does not show the door being opened for an interior inspection. What the Cybertruck axe video reportedly shows
Futurism says the footage shows repeated axe strikes against the Cybertruck’s left passenger-side door, leaving visible marks in the exterior. The report attributes the original video to Tesla Owners Silicon Valley. Its linked X post could not be accessed, so the account should be treated as Futurism’s description rather than an independently verified view of the original clip.

The word “hack” in the headline means chopping or striking with an axe. This is not a report about computer hacking or cybersecurity.
What the footage does not establish
According to the report, nobody opened the door to inspect the interior. The video therefore does not establish whether the strikes caused damage behind the exterior surface, affected the door’s operation, or impaired any other vehicle system. No measured damage or formal inspection is reported.

They should not be treated as a durability study or used to draw conclusions about how much force the Cybertruck can withstand.
A useful comparison would require consistent information about the implement, the vehicle area struck, what damage was visible, whether the door or window was operated afterward, and whether anyone inspected the vehicle. Those details are not established on a common basis in these reported clips.
