What is the Graffiti X?
The Graffiti X is Lyric Cycles’ more powerful follow-up to its original Graffiti, designed with a motorcycle-inspired form and equipment for road and off-road riding. New Atlas covered it as a launch preview on December 21, 2023, when the X was expected to launch in 2024. That launch timing is now historical; the current manufacturer listing shows the model available for preorder.
It is best described as a moto-style electric moped rather than assumed to be a conventional bicycle in every jurisdiction. Its motor output, top speed, and permitted riding mode matter when determining where it may legally be ridden.
What do the two modes allow?
Lyric’s current specifications distinguish a regulated mode from a higher-powered unrestricted mode. The stated regulated specifications vary between the U.S. and Canada; they are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not a universal legal ruling. Check local vehicle, licensing, registration, helmet, and land-access rules before riding.

Lyric’s product detail page states: “Off-road mode is for use on private land only.” That restriction is important even if a trail or path appears physically suitable: the manufacturer does not describe unrestricted mode as legal for public roads or public trails.
Motor, battery, and range claims
The current product page lists a 3,000 W motor with 7,200 W peak output and a 60 V, 40 Ah battery (2,400 Wh). Lyric estimates 60–70 miles in e-bike mode and 35–40 miles in off-road mode. These are manufacturer estimates, not results from an independent road test.

The detailed page says its range calculation assumes a 175 lb rider and specified energy consumption and speeds. Actual distance will depend on riding conditions and use; the estimates should not be treated as a guaranteed range for every rider or route. The lower stated range in off-road mode is a useful planning distinction, but does not establish a particular real-world outcome.
What equipment and fit does Lyric list?
The current specifications include full front and rear suspension, a carbon belt drive, hydraulic brakes, 16-inch motorcycle tires, integrated lighting and turn signals, and a two-passenger seat. Lyric lists total weight at 125 lb and rider fit from 5 ft 2 in to 6 ft 4 in.

- Terrain: The suspension and motorcycle tires are part of the moto-style setup, but the private-land-only restriction for off-road mode still applies.
- Rider and passenger: Use the listed fit range as a starting point; the page’s two-passenger seat does not by itself establish passenger payload limits.
- Moving and storage: At the listed 125 lb, this is a substantially weightier proposition than a typical lightweight bicycle, so consider how you will store, transport, or maneuver it when unpowered.
- Carrying gear: The listed two-passenger seat does not specify cargo capacity. Buyers who need a rack or specialized carrier should verify compatibility and current availability with Lyric.
How the current listing differs from the 2023 preview
Numbers in the original coverage should not be conflated with the current product page. New Atlas’s December 21, 2023 preview reported a planned 60 V/35 Ah battery, claimed range up to 70 miles on street riding or 40 miles off-road, and an anticipated price of about $3,999. Lyric’s current listing instead specifies a 60 V/40 Ah battery and publishes mode-specific range estimates of 60–70 miles and 35–40 miles. The figures come from different dates and sources, and the earlier price was an anticipated figure, not the current offer.
Preorder price and delivery timing
As listed by Lyric Cycles on October 8, 2026, the Graffiti X is offered for preorder at $3,599, reduced from a listed $4,599, with target delivery in October–November 2026. This is a snapshot of the manufacturer’s page, not a guarantee that the price will remain available or that delivery will occur in that window.
